Another CI 500

Tried to post my bike's pictures yesterday but got 500 internal server error. So posting them today.

Here is my 2004 Bullet500. Have done about 27,000 Kms. I am not a tourer and have never gone more than 200km trip on my bike (which is quite unlikely character of Bullet 500 owner).

Modifications:
1. Fitted Disc Brake kit from dealer.
2. Later added Gas shocks
3. Few minor modifications done my mechanic to improve on the intake manifold rubber. Rejetted the carb.

My only regret is that i am not able to ride the bike regularly as i used to, untill i bought the car. Would like to join the medium range tours with other bulleteers in future.

Cheers!

To be frank no, stock seat is as good as this while some custom designed seats are better. These are readymade seats from Delhi and I like the looks.

BTW are you a part of any club, MadBulls for eg? Since you are from Chennai and a bulleteer, had you been to RM06? Just asked coz I was there at Chennai for RM06, rode from TVM alone to participate.

Hope to ride with Tbhp bullet bros sometime

Posting few pictures of my ex Bullet

It had a ported head, compression was bumped up, fired up by dual spark plugs, CB point ignition replaced with auto escorts kit, engine was fed by a Dellorto PHBH28 carb, air filtration duties were handles by a Green Cotton air filter, rear tyre was an MRF 4.25x18 Moto C and later replaced with a Moto D of the same size.

Yes. I am part of the Madras Bulls club but no chance to ride along with them. Because people at my home are too scary about me taking the bike on long rides. Hope to join you probably in the next year RM.

I didn't have much choice. I can make one like that later when i have enough time and money. So no issues

Thanks man! It's my favourite pic too.. the timing of the shot was perfect!
The neutral finder was removed later, the first two pics have em. While shifting fast the neutral finder lever carries inertia which aids in mis-shifts. This tip i got from a guy in the west who races Bullet. It's true, quick shifts improved a lot after the lever was removed.

What was done to the head? Have you mentioned the "how you did it" somewhere else on the forum?

I am guessing its not the new dual spark thing RE came out with.

There's an old thread Twinspark Psyched Bull. Some details are in there, but not all. It's not the new twin spark RE that inspired me but an old URAL I did this before the Twinspark RE came out.
