One Nice Vespa...would be fun if it came to India!

Vespa Granturismo 200: 200 cc four-stroke, liquid cooled engine, 21 hp/13lb/ft, front and rear disc brakes and a top speed of about 70 mph. It looks fun, and it'd beat preety much every ndn bike out there, with teh exception of the Comet and the R350 prolly...AND ITS A SCOOTER!

i like the headlight of this thing...
but i guess if it were to ever come to india, there will be only two kinds of buyers for this:
1. Die hard scooter fans
2. People too scared of buying a bike coz it doesnt have a spare!

Vespas have always been quick machines..... the LML Vespas that were (are??) available in india are awesomely quick.
But, this is something amazing! a scooter with a LC engine!

I dont think we could ever expect to see something like this here. Firstly scooters hardly sell anymore, its only bikes. And also.. we barely have any 200cc+ bikes, we can just forget about an engine like that in a scooter here.

Spare tires are history pal. Honda Dio scooter does not have a spare tire. It uses honda's tuff-up tube.

whats the use even if it uses the tuff-up?its not puncture resistant...
i have an activa and i know what it is...its any day better to have a spare wheel!

i think a spare is needed you never know when some nail is going to pierce through your tyre. it will happen when you least expect it so it better to have a spare.
