Karnataka Registered Bike in Pune

Hey Guys,

I am going to Pune from Bangalore for two months, So I thought of taking my Pulsar with me.

I have two questions:
1). Is it safe to transport the bike via Train, if yes what precautions I need to take?
2). My friend in Pune says Police don't allow the Karnataka Registered Bike in Pune.How do I tackle those guys?(I am thinking of carrying petrol pump bill as proof recent travel)

Please Advice!

carrying petrol pump bill as proof recent travel... thats a good idea...and also pack your bike intact with thermo otherwise it will be for sure in a bad shape...

Don't forget to remove easily breakable items like mirrors before packing.
