Actually a small incident has happened with me I found one of the spark plug broken in the morning but i dint noticed it. I started my bike and went few meters bike was just going fine, till I heard tik tik kinda sound which was coming due to spark getting generated whenever the wire holding the broken plug touches the engine, I immediately stopped my bike and checked and found my sparg plug is broken into half that is half the spark plug was attached with the engine and half was attached with the spark plug cable. I wonder how did that happen.

I wanted to know if what is the difference in power delivery of the three engines:- STD, AVL and AVL Twin Spark. Appreciate if somebody can place the data for BHP and torque both.

I however attribute that to lesser transmission losses than the extra plug.
My TBTS 2009 gave around 40 kmpl for the first 7-8,000 km. Now, at 12000 km, it gives 43 kmpl. I don't think 50+ is possible in normal riding.

Hey doesn't it less for TBTS? My TB 2005 gives me 39-40 in city travel. I think .

Thanks,
Pradip.

hey what is the need to use dummy spark plug, just simply remove the spark plug socket (wire connected to spark plug) from one of the spark plugs.

My TBTS (now at 8000+ kms) is averaging at around 42kmpl with a pillion rider (combined weight of 160kgs)
Riding at around 70kmph avg with a mix of highway and city run of around 250 kms a week.
