Update

An Update folks:
Bought a used 2006(December) Karizma.
I bought it from a fellow team-bhpian.
I think I did a good thing by saving some money for this purchase instead of trying all other bikes which fall in limited budget.

Congratulations Raj, after a long hiatus (since February) there is this sudden news. Please post some pics as well as a buying/ownership report.

Next move = your other buying thread?

Cheers,

It is indeed an old one. Its a Nov 2006 manufactured Karizma.

The previous owner, added the engine cowl and upgraded the rear tire to Michelin Sirac 120/80. Upgraded the head light to Osram Silverstar 55/60W, upgraded the battery to 9amps and oh! one really sounding horn(making it very horny!!!! ).

I have not tested/tasted it much in dark conditions. In a ride(prior to the purchase), I could see the head-light bright enough to cause irritation on high-beam through side-view mirror of my Zeus. This karizma was behind me. BTW, it was 8:30 in the morning!!! All I can say, that this is quite powerful. I avoid using the high-beam!!!. Also the height is adjusted such that it does not fall into the eyes of incoming motorists.

The bike is running with this bulb for more almost 20 months without any issues with electricals.

Not to forget that the 9-amps battery is BOSCH sealed battery (maintenance-free) and is bought just a month and half back.

New seat cover (the material is used for high-quality car seats). New spanking cowls too. New cone set. Clutch plates changed just 9k kms back. And, above all very well maintained.

And, extra set of clutch cables and throttle cables free along with silencer screws.

Hero Ranger .
There is no replacement for a Karizma, which ravi will like unless HH launches the so called 250/350 cc liquid cooled ZMR!!!
