Hi Guys,
I got this from one of the forwards & was just beautiful. You gotta love this:)
"Craftsman Carlos Alberto came across a Vespa that was in complete disrepair, so he gutted it and carved a body from wood—which he then coated in a multitude of beautiful steam-molded veneers. Stunning stuff. But am I the only one who takes a look at those wheels and imagines little roulette tables?"
Cheers !!!!

Vivek, he probably never needed to. Unless you change something that is noted as unique in the RC one probably does not need to re-register the vehicle. So an engine change will need you to re-register it. Similarly even a fuel type change (petrol to LPG) needs the go-ahead of the registering authorities. But I do not think anyone mentions in the records as to whether the body is made of steel or wood. :D And that probably is the loophole here as the scooter was already registered albeit in a bad shape when this artistic guy let his ideas run amock and crafted this wooden body for it.
I wonder though what happens to the body when the scooter is exposed to the rains and water logged streets (that probably never happens in the wester world anyways). ;)
just wondering what happens ...just in case ....you know ....he has a small crash ....( hope not ) as in wooden thing how well will it hold thats what came to my mind
Awesome! Amazing! Brilliant! Classy!
There is so much one can think negative about this - a crash, a dent, water logged streets, etc. but what impresses me is the novelty of the idea.
Too good.Never imagined this marvel.
