My COMET GT250!! Done just 1400Kms!!!

Hi Guys,
Just bought myself a Yellow Comet thats done just 1400kms! Can you believe it i couldn't when the guy said its done under 2000kms! And was pleasantly surprised to find out that it had indeed done only 1402Kms to be exact when i took delivery! this guy bought the bike but hardly had the time to ride it so decided to sell it now!!

you can see the pics in my garage.

I'm quite an amature biker so still trying to get used to the bike but its nothing like i've ever ridden before! Its smooth as hell very comfortable ride, handles like a dream.
This bike gives you the confidence to take the corners quicker, it sticks snugly to the tarmac and gives a feeling of endless grip along with a smooth acceleration and once you see that empty patch of road and let her rip! ohhhh its nirvana!

Well the tuning seems to be slightly out right now but shall get that taken care of tomm.
other than that got the number plate changed to a simple one, got the horn replaced as the original one had conked.

Future plans are to get an after market muffler, don't really like the sound too much any suggestions on that?

I've trully madly deeply fallen in love with this bike!
And i still cant believe my luck that i found something practically unused!

Congrats
For riding gear and helmets check online store of planet DSG.

and dont go in for a aftermarket end can unless you find a branded one specifically designed for Hyosung comet 250.
and 1400kms in almost 4 years did the prev owner ever rode it?

hey akshay! yup found planet dsg, thanks for the help also a little help on a good helmet, by good i mean safety as well as good aesthetically.

Yup the previous owner pretty much didn't ride this one! Actually he had a red comet earlier then bought this yellow which was probably the very last one in delhi, but he'd had his fill so hardly rode it!

Yup looking for a branded endcan but can't seem to find any in india.
I've seen alot of people seem to have either completely debaffled their muffler or drilled wholes in the baffles, they sound decent a little too throaty for my liking though.
My question is wouldn't this mess around with the backpressure and what ill effects could something like this have?

That is a virgin motorcycle you have bought yourself Speedo, congratulations.
Btw, someone I know has an Aquila standing in his driveway since a few years and has done only 700 kms odd till a few months back.

Now back to your Comet, lookup ebay.au. The Comet has its biggest fan and aftermarket base in Australia. That should be your refuge to get yourself OEM psares too when Kinetic is out of stock.
Other than that, I would suggest joining a Comet forum to get familiar with the niggles and attributes of the Comet.

Speedo, I doubt anyone in India would have stock of an aftermarket exhaust for the Comet. Your best best is to order online, and lookup videos on youtube for reference sake.
