Bimal Hero, Sadashivnagar has the parts. Ask for Mr Sadguru in spares. Nice chap. If he doesn't have the stock, he orders and gets them in about a week. I'm in the process of restoring one and he helped me with the parts.
Coming to building, there are some YouTube videos on cleaning carbs, dismantling and assembling the whole Karizma engine etc. They are not very well presented but they give clues if you're stuck. This surely isn't recommended if you're a total newbie but if you're willing to learn, take the plunge :D
Good luck!

Thanks for the contact. I will visit Bimal Hero this weekend then and get some parts.

Laxmi Bike Service, Devi Nagar, i get my Activa Serviced from him, he specialises in 4 Stroke bikes and also does some rally prep work for a few riders. My experience with him has been great, price on a higher side, but service quality was good. |
Thanks.

I could help you with cleaning the carb via a video call or something incase you don't find anything. |
That is so kind of you! I will surely get in touch if I decide to go the full DIY route.
Hello everyone, I recently got myself a 1987 made rx 100, I’m looking for a good trustworthy mechanic in Bangalore to disassemble the bike, get some parts repainted and carry out a full service for the bike, can anyone suggest me a good mechanic and painter ? Thanks in advance
Can anyone here recommend a good garage for a 11 year old Vespa? I stay in Marathahalli area. Can go to a good garage even if it’s 25kms away. The company service centres in Koramangala, Indiranagar and on Outer Ring Road (Avante Garde) have offered poor experience only until now.

Try Avinash motors on Lalbagh road (location
here). I give my wife's Vespa for service at that center from past 3 years and have no complaints so far.
Hey everyone! This is my first post on the forum.
Posting since I couldn't find anything searching on the forum.
Can anyone recommend a trustworthy mechanic or garage for KTMs in Bangalore?
Haven't had great experience with the SVC and I'm looking to start taking my bike to an FNG instead
Can anyone recommend me a reliable mechanic/service centre in Bangalore? I own a Scrambler 400x and the front disc rotors are worn out, I wanted to replace it at an FNG as the service and price at Keerthi Triumph is Subpar

You can try TopGear Performance near Tata Silk Farm. While I don't have recent experience, I used to service my KTM 390 there until early 2020 and even got some engine work done by them.

The timing of this post can't be more perfect than this.
I just came back from APT Bike point, Kammanahalli after replacing the front disc rotor of my KTM ADV 390.
Adding a few pics below.
Note: the torque wrench is mine, I carried it with me.
Hi, Could some one please suggest any good FNG who works on TVS and would be able to source genuine parts. My RTR200 has some issues with brake, engine oil leak and need to do general service and i'm done with going to service centre. Any pointers of FNG near Sarjapura, Marathahalli, HSR would be great. Thanks.

Sorry to hear that man, but if you would give one more chance, then please go to NEO tvs in Bilekahalli as that is the nearest competent SVC in the area. I got my 310 serviced there and no complaints at all. If you do manage to find a FNG then its a good case scenario for you. In the area you mentioned, unfortunately the SVC's are horrendous resulting in me travelling 15+ km to go to neo instead of just 4 km to the marthahalli ones.

Thanks for the suggestion man. I used to go there only and it was okey. Even have one pending free AMC there. But now its around 30Km from home and dropping off and picking up in working days or any other day is tiring. Will go there if not able to find any good one's near by.
Any recommendations for a good FNG in East Bangalore? I am looking to get my Yamaha R15 V3 serviced. I find the bike to be vibey (maybe, I am spoilt by my Interceptor :D) The brake pads were replaced during the previous service, but the feel is terrible - needs some fine tuning - which I don't trust that SVC would spend time and get this right for me.
