You can't expect fuel efficiency from a Classic sports bike...which you may be pretty aware of(f)
I prefer my RE std 350 for regular commuting & prefer my RE 700 twin for weekend blast
ps: @ GPV:your GP, has gulped Rs 450/= worth Fuel(petroil) for that 200kms......think that is not bad (not to forget Petrol price @ Tamilnadu)
That is not bad at all..Petrol cost per Liter with oil - say around Rs 75/L.
In Rs450 - 6 L , for 200 kms averaging 33.33Km/L.
My RD350 doesn't give that much

Thanks you..

, but you need not bang your head, as RD is TWIN, you can get a best average of 27kms/L, if it is a good stock power-train @ normal riding circumstances

Re: Help required for restoring Enfield Fury 175 gp

Hi All,

At last, i'm also a proud owner of an Enfield Fury. Its 1988 DX model with GP monograms on tank. Original Kerala registration. Had to pay a BOMB to acquire her though.

Engine is just fine. But, Please let me know what all engine n gear box parts can be interchanged with Enfield Explorer as i have a huge collection of Explorer spare parts. Kicker parts? gear parts? Please be specific. That would help a lot. I'm looking for a tachometer & meter casing for this bike. Restoration is already on.

I have the original fairing without visor. Is there any way to fabricate a visor using heat bending method? any specialists?
