Dear Fellow Motorcycle Enthusiasts.

For those of you who are in the USA, and want to hit the race track with a sport bike, I would recommend signing up for a Team Promotion event. This organization rents out race tracks across the USA and holds events where the public can participate for a fee. They have various packages based on the level of expertise. If you have not raced on a track before, I suggest taking the beginners course in which they take lessons through the morning with some track time in between and then pretty much all afternoon, you get to have a blast on the track. Attaching some pics from my last visit it to the NASCAR track in Poconos, Pennsylvania. You can take your own sport bike or rent a bike from them. I prefer to rent their bikes since they are fully souped up for the track and you are constantly redlining the bike on the track and I didn't want to blow my own pistons :).

Even if you are visiting the USA, I would recommend it. I mean how often do you get to shell out about $300 dollars and track a race ready Kawasaki Ninja for a day!

Awesome stuff , wish i knew about this when i was in US... anyways is there any such clubs in Chennai. Asking for chennai as they have the only proper race track in INDIA

That 300 USD is money well spent. What kind of track time did you get after the briefing session?

The Chennai track does offer the Fisme (formula maruti) and race prepared esteems for arrive and drive. I'm guessing there is a slim chance that TVS & Yamaha provide their race prepared two strokers too.
But I highly doubt any similar activity related to superbikes.

Mummeet, Its quite easy to hire a TVS or Yamaha two strokers for a track day.
But, not superbikes.

In INDIA I doubt if we have an option to Hire 2Strokes for racing, MMSC conducts Ucal-Rolon Events and for Novice Class they use to provide TVS Racing tuned Victor and Fiero Bikes during 2005, now I heard that Fiero is stopped and TVS is providing Apache.
I guess there is no option to Hire a Superbike in INDIA for Racing.
