Need Suggestions - Bigger Rim & New tyre on new RE Electra

Hi Guys
I'm getting myself a RE Electra 5S, and want a 3.50x19 wheel at the rear instead of the 3.25x19 that comes with the bike. The dealer says he can exchange it and deliver with the new profile, without effecting the warranty. Now, the ques - what tyre do I go for? The std MRF Nylogrip 3.50x19 isn't available (it seems). The other options: Dunlop, Ceat (Secura Sport) and TVS(?). The dealer recommends Dunlop. I couldn't find Ceat Secura Sport with Ceat dealers. And I'm not sure if TVS makes 19" tyres.

What do you suggest? I wouldn't want to change to 18" wheel on the new vehicle.

Thanks!

The Dunlops are a pretty safe bet. Most people agree that they're a good all-round tire. Am actually looking for a Dunlop front for my LB.

I got the Dunlop last year when I purchased the bike. Good buy over all. Though I still regret not buying the 500CC.

Hi.
Just got Micheline Sirac 120/90 R 17 for my Pulsar 180.
Its a wonderful tyre. Just see it before buying any other tyre.
R17 may sound small for a Bullet but this is not a low profile tyre and might fit quite well. I also saw 130/80 R17 Continental by Metro. Thats a nice tyre too with good road grip.
Just a suggestion.

Thanks guys.
I really don't want to go for sub-19" on a brand new bike. But there aren't many 19" options available as well! How abt the Ceat- any idea if it's available?

Why don't you try MRF Meteor 110/90 -19". I have it on my TB.. it works well.

I use Dunlop tire on the rear wheel of my tb.
Its got these very nice buttons.
They are fantastic on broken road and mild off roading.
But on a smooth good road not very good.

Would not recommend if you are primarily using it for Highways.

How about the stock 3.25 that comes with the Electra? Is it a good idea to move to a
bigger profile right away (considering the monsoon, etc.) or stay with the 3.25 itself for sometime/
