Even if this is the 10th thread I dunno anything about it. How do the specs look like ?
Is it a cosmetically tweaked P220 like many were saying in the comments section of the link ?

I seriously hope that this is not a new version of Pulsar. What Bajaj needs now is a brand new Pulsar platform. The present engine's range was maxed out with 220. They cant go any further. Thankfully 220 manages to show reasonable performance.

What I am expecting is :

1) A brand new better engineered chassis with rear monoshock suspension.

2) A brand new design for engine ranging from 150 to 250.

3) Better reliability just like what the real competition offers. Pulsar is not known to be very reliable after initial ownership.

Is it not supposed to be the Carburetor version of the P220?

Its a new Pulsar 220. Comes with the following stuf...

- No FI, its Carb'ed now.
- All black theme like the P200.
- Steel Braided front brake house.
- Reworked engine internals
- Taller 5th gear.
- 145Kmph 'true' top speed.
- Grippier tyres to compensate for the crappy handling
- Slight changes to the fairing (Not Sure!)

Launching on the 23rd June! And its also supposed to be priced at 70K INR Ex-showroom delhi!

I completely disgaree with this. While its not high on refinement, it most certainly is reliable... as reliable as any two wheeler on Indian roads if not better.
Even I have heard that the new bike comes sans FI.

Hi,

Find below the link to the new P220 news from zigwheels. don't know what will happen to us who already own the old P220 - resale of the bike will take a big hit if this new version comes out.

New Pulsar 220 DTS-i will be the fastest Indian bike!- News- Zigwheels

It's just a day away now.

And yes, I got a sneak peek of that bike too. Looked like an all black P220.

I think bajaj won't be a looser. They will retain DTS-FI P220's as well. For an inspiration ,Tvs apache offered in both fi/carb versions.

What is the point announcing product launches when they make you wait 3 months for a bike after booking? Sounds like more bs from Bajaj.
