Are RD350 LC and RD350 AC pistons are same ?

Are RD350 LC and RD350 AC pistons are same ?-image000.jpg

I have got this set of Original NOS Yamaha ART piston kits shipped from overseas with the part number reading 4L0-11631-00.

I'm now confused as the part number search from google resulted that this Piston is a LC piston. Anyone got an idea if the same piston could be used in Air Cooled RD350 ?

LC Pistons are Taller than the Aircooled Ones .....

The Transfer port holes in the Piston are of a different shape too ...

both are the same.. LC pistons have larger ports which dont pose a problen for aircooled RD.. height is the same.. theres only a small tang at the skirt which has to be removed for use in aircooled RDs..

When I got the Orig ARTs removed and was going to put in the "RD350 LC" stamped TKRs I saw the difference ... Got the RD350 ones for TKR ...same height as the ARTs ...

No Difference between a LC and a aircooled piston; the difference in the skirt is of a RZ piston

RZ pistons start with either : 31K; 29L; 2GU

4LO are LC (Non YPVS); most of the TKR pistons that you get in India are 4LO variety

I doubt your pistons are fake from what i see in the pic.. you have a good chance if you picked it up from ebay
