How old is the bike ?
A year now. Braved some heavy showers this year. Was parked in the open parking lot as we have open parking in our society.

Yes. It did. Put in some oil and left it overnight. Also, put it on mainstand and drained water from every possible place from the bike. It's fired to life again after a week. Will give it for servicing, polishing and waxing tomorrow to make it look as fresh as day 1.

Thank you everyone.

There is probably nothing better than WD40 for this. Just spray enough and leave it there for quite sometime to do its job. Yes, there are other penetrants like 3Bond, etc which are supposed to do the job too. Please do not use stuff like coconut oil, etc. Engine oil is still an ok option... but only if you just cant get something like WD40.

You can even try something like Singer Oil (yes, the sewing machine company). Thats the next best thing to WD40.
