Maintaining a Bajaj Chetak / LML Vespa / Eterno.

Hi gang !

I would like to buy a second hand side-engined manual transmission scooter.Have Bajaj chetak/super , LML vespa and Eterno in mind.

How many of you own one of these and with all of them except LML vespa , not in production , Will I be able to get spares and service them in chennai ?

Have found these two in used market :

1.A 1977 Single owner Bajaj 1.5 (Was there a '1.5' ?) for 4K.Owner is aged 72 , a mechanical engineer and claims a mileage of 35 kmpl.

2.A 2005 Eterno for 10K !

Will be checking the 1977 bajaj tomorrow.. Do I have to wait for a LML T5 ? Can I get Eterno/Bajaj spares in market (and a mechanic to service)..
