RD350 for me. Apart from the speeds where I think it would have been beaten by the BMW, I think it carried an attitude and swagger no other bike in India has been able to match.

each bike taken here has its own distinctness. Unicorn is here because it is the first and only indian manufactured bike to have a single monoshock and an excellent handler.

I personally hate that CBZ cousin but I tried to be fair to all.

Thought the BSA Bond was the first to have a mono-shock!

hmm enduro? wasnt that the crappy dirt bike with the fluoroscent colours.

its the 350 for me!!
i loved it the moment i saw it ..i didnt know much about bikes then(altough i loved riding them) i was in 10th grade..{he said it was modded to 50 bhp i think ..had alloys/mags 4 spoke i think...metallic violet in colour }
but i knew about
-2 strokes
-RD350 /350LC to be precise
-what huge torque is
-how hard is it to launch a 350 in 1st gear after riding a Splendor!

anyways happend to touch a 120 on it and managed to cruise @60k's in 5th(which was the best part)
was my first and last RD350 ride! its unbeatable.
i stay away from bikes now though..

Its Yam RD350 for me too, it is the best.
How come no Pulsar 150 when CBZ and Unicorn are there and also Comet is not included.

Its the Yamaha RD350 for me...as Sridhar said how come you dont have the Comet and the 150 Pulsar when you have the Unicorn??
I would also favour the CBZ(always had a soft corner for that bike) or the Shogun..its a bike that never got the recognition that it should have got when it released.

coz, the Pulsar 180 is already on the poll which is a better performer than the 150 cc variant ..

this is soooo true .. for that matter it could be after any of the bikes available then ..
my first experience on the RD was while being a regular user of the shogun .. and I gave its throttle the same amount of twist as the shogun ..
boy was I in for a surprise !!!

Has to be the RD350 for me too - good sound, great pace and macho looks.
For a second, I thought of voting for the BMW F650. But then, I remembered, it was so damned expensive!
Royal Enfield is my favourite marque, but I've never seen a Lightning closely.
CBZ would be next. It was the 1st affordable performance 4 stroke - a true trend setter.

moderators can you please add the kinteic hyosung comet. I have missed that one out. Its is the only worthy competitors to rd350 and bmw.

the pulsar 150 is not there because 180 is there and so no1 will vote for it.

Well the fight for me is only between RD and Yezdi Classic.
Spent all my childhood being a pillion rider on Yezdi. The sound is distinctive ... when you are riding ... immidiately people on road will come to know its RD but from very far that its the yezdi.
I go for RD but someday i would love to own Yezdi.

Why no Harley? Actually at my age I'd need an Ezy Ryder with back support.
