Proton is a very respected name here. You do get generic expansion chambers from them but they also make them to order.

I happen to know the owner of Proton and he is definitely not the type to fool anybody.

But I think the yamaha people are stupid people. they were selling a rx-z for 60k and didnt even give it a fat rear. And seriously that bike would have sold more at close to 50k maybe.

Malcolm, there are loads of stuff you can do to make your bike faster...If you wana use your bike for drag racing and daily use both then you cannot 1)rip the chassis 2) put in thinner tires 3) use bigger butterfly carbs nor any other weight loss treatments...
But otherwise:
1) ship a 28mm butterfly carb with single/double airjets.
2) carbonfibre flexible shortneck reed valve or slice the bore inlet and place the reed valve closer into the bore.
3) Port the inlet and outlet(should get the angles right hence should be done by a specialist)
3) Change the bore sleeve to a bigger one increasing the cc and fit in oversized al/ceramic piston.
4) Custom make ignition coil according to how much power they requre to burn the fuel depending on how much is your final bore cc's.
5) Quicken the Ig timing.
6) Change the sprockets(front and back both) with lesser teeth after checking on the final drive to the wheel is ascertained.
7) Use octane boosters in fuel.(Bardahl or stp)
8) Use quick throttle and make the bike more aerodynamic and lighter by using fibre parts in place of metal ones.(You can custom make aircraft grade aluminium chassis, rims, clip on's, wheel nuts etc...
9)Most Imp:: dont buy ready made expansion chamber...Get one custom made depending on what you want; low, midrange or top end. Your current one is a universal chamber spreading your power but get one done with a bigger expansion cone ann shorter stinger, that will give you enormous power and top end. Circuit racing requires big top end speeds hence ultra small chambers with hugh cones and narrow bend pipes.
10)In drag racing people donot use airfilters to maximise air fuel mixture but for road racing k&n or kawa cone filter should do good.

If you want anymore suggestions feel free to ask...I have 4 yrs of bike drag racing experience so dont worry i wont misguide you.

Yes yes mate.
Listen to this guy. Protons are the best out there.
One chamber suited to all.....
Every type of engine setup, every type of ignition curve, every type of driving style and final requirements.

U can't go wrong with the readymade "paarfarmance" chambers like krp, proton.
Go for them blindly...

140 is a long shot for an rxz. to reach a speed of 140 on an rxz ul hav to do tonnes of things like porting, filters, etc etc. the rxz's top speed is 110(stock) so just by fitting a proton exhaust there is absolutely no way ur gona get any where close to 140. u should be able to get a decent condition rxz for about 22 to 25k.

i have ridden malcolms bike and it does clock what he says it does on speedo.

his bike does clock 140 on speedo but it has nil acceleration in the loser gears.top end seems to be scary but.i dont know how it is this way!

my bike clocks a speed of somewhere around 130+ on speedo.(130-140 are very close to tell the difference on speedo) at 11000rpm!

if you are interested in a 5 speed malcolms bike is up for sale for 45k!! anyone interested can PM him!
