bajaj could have styled it differently. it looks exactly like the 150/180. at least the headlight unit could have been different. this design is becoming old now when compared to the FZ & apache RTRs.

'Exactly' ; except for the 120 section tyres, Rear discs, Brushed metal silencer , Golden calipers and the discrete "220" badging

And excuse me sire, Apache? Can u tell me how the Apaches (160,160 Fi,180) differ by looks as such?

you are right, but the RTR 180 is a looker compared to this dull 220S & it looks relatively new.

Well i think all they needed to do is to get a new bikini fairing. But then they also had to make sure cheaper 220 does not look better than expensive one.

But i agree with above, pulsar design has been around for a while now and it's not as modern as it used to be. bajaj has been lazy in upgrading its flagship model and competition has been doing exactly opposite. TVS didn't upgrade styling but they introduced a stunning white shade, hence a cosmetic change in any manner possible to keep the bike fresh.

The RTR 180 indeed is a looker. I love the superbike inspired rear fender, the golden calipers, and the golden shock reservoirs. That beautiful white also helps

What I feel is that they should have atleast retained the Projector headlamp inside the bikini fairing.

Had gone to Shirode Auto's Kothrud service centre to drop my P220 'F' for its 2nd service. There was a guy who had bought the new P220 'S' version and had some scratches over the tank. The bike looks exactly like the earlier 200 with clipon's and rear disc brakes. The bike was black in color and the clipons and the rear grab handles were black.

Looks like the deliveries of the bike have already begun. I did not have a camera with me, so no pics. The price as told to me by the Bajaj guy is 76000 on road. He also said that the P220 'F' price was around 80000 on road now. I bought it for 78180 on road, 4 months back

Also, the 220 badging on the rear part of the bike looks bad. The badging on the faired version is better IMO. Also, the badging on the faired version reads "220 DTSi" but the one on the new 220 read "220" only. The DTSi was missing for it :O

True... The booking is on now.
