Dear All

It breaks my heart to break that the good old STD 350 is off the roads in Hyderabad, and it doesn't stop there.

If you are one of those who just got a rush of moolah from somewhere and are ready to live your dream of buying a RE... YOU CAN'T DO IT...

None of the REs, except the twisted Thunderbird, is available on demand. The dealerships here have a waiting period on bikes as follows:

RE Classic 500 180 days
RE Classic 350 180 days
RE Electra UCE 30 days

All the CI 350s are off the road and the ones who got from the last lot have something to cheer about for the rest of their lives. A new UCE avatar is being churned up to retail for around 94K. Sad...! Some'll say not but it will be missed.

I was also informed that all the hoopla is due to pollution norms. Wonder what they're going to do with the ones already on the road, some for more than 30 years...!

Therefore,

I'm sorry but isn't this news some months old? The CI has been stopped. The UCE is the way forward for RE and looks like a good step forward.
