The workshow where I go for repairs just did a rx with gladiator disk OEM. The total cost was around 7000.

Well, IMO, it depends from where you source; I don't get any parts for this week & will take atleast next week for the parts to move freely due to year end closure. It may take a day or two but much much better than sourcing RX components. Glad's setup also fits like glove on RX's T. Anyday, Glad's disc looks beautiful than Pulsar's & I would prefer looking little different than Pulsar's setup as Pulsar is most commonly seen.

Also comment on the cost of the conversion.
Ya you can have front and rear disc for an rx. Hope these links help. Not sure of the conversion cost though. In my view it will come in between 15 or 20 k.

Cost around 1.6K here in Chennai & I bought one about 2 months back, it will be RX100/RXG model & you'll get a beat close to Rx100. Just checked with the shop & they confirmed the availability.

Yes. The silencer costs Rs 1550. Its a RX/RXG model. It sounds awesome and quite refined. The mechanic confirmed that its original. He also added that this is more heavier and sturdier than the local ones, because of the mufflers inside. Also that the chrome is bluish, compared to the yellowish chrome on locals.

Finally after almost a month the bike is finally ready. Have not yet ridden it, but will do so tomorrow. Here's how it turned from this to:

Its looking brilliant! I need the tank and side panels. Where can I get them? Did the tank have an epoxy like coating inside when you got it?

Whoa V12 - Congratulations man; try to fit mud flap at the end of front fenner. Love the seats; so finally you went in for the twin spring; let me know your experience with the ride on those twin springs. Congratulations once again & I'm happy for you.

Its gives the tank a smooth surface inside so that even after years there will be no rusting inside. You can get it done if the tank doesn't come with it.

Sorry I didn't understand. Mine came with a smooth silver looking finish inside, so does it have or should I get it done?
