2 stroke Enfields from the 80s and 90s

Guys, check out this bike . I took the pic here from trivandrum in west fort.
I suppose it's an enfield 100 cc or more. Must be the zundapp Enfield fury.
It's too old and the owner has used a splendors headlamp maybe because got the original blown up. Compare it with the pure version in this list.

Its the Enfield explorer, a 50cc 2T m/c. This one is pretty complete except for that h/l assy. So you are on for a rebuild/ restoration?

Just see http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/motorbikes/60318-enfield-explorer-my-first-love-story.html for a ref & the Vintage Forum for much more..

No buddy, That isn't mine anyways. Just found it. It's the alloys which caught my eyes into taking a look.. there was no registration plate on the bike. i think the owner has totally dumped it.. i think That guy doesn't know the Heritage of old enfields.

I can see MOFA painted on the side. One of my uncles used to have this one when I was a kid. 35cc, if I remember correctly.

That is Enfield Mofa, 30cc 2 stroke engine that required no RTO approval, means no registration required, you simply buy the moped from the showroom & start riding right away; how convenient, isn't it?.

This particular Mofa belongs to a friend(his uncle's) of my brother. I think it was imported from UK. And yes, it is 35cc.

OT - Anupam, where you got the pic from ? I think it was a pic shot by croy.

Yup its an Enfield Mofa, had one in school and managed to sieze the engine in the first week Its 22 cc IIRC. Petrol tank is the tubular chassis itself. No shocks, just the spring mounted seats and used to have a decent head light.

Enfield Mofa, made with small Enfield Agro engine in 80's was not popular as pulling power was very low.
