Rotor Plate for KB 100 RTZ

Hi,

My cousin owns a KB 100 RTZ (1988 model). I need to know where to source a rotor plate as it is not available with the company.

i think you mean the stator plate(the one with the coils) . normally nothing happens to it except some coils fail.what is the issue here ?

wait and see if some one is holding a piece, or try at the used parts sellers.

i think by rotor plate you mean the plate which regulate the fuel/lubrication, inside the chamber where carb is fitted or the one mentioned by a friend above. please clarify

thanks

Any body in BLR who can come & check ? I can direct you to one shop in Hanumanth nagar / Girinagar (not A.S.C) where I had got some parts earlier.

Hi,

Normally this particular bike used to go thru an oil change once in 8-9 months. Offlate, it has been drinking too much oil (oil change now happens once in 20-25 days). I assume this is because the rotor place is unable to regulate the oil supply to the engine.

Please help!!!!

I had a KB 100 for 4 years, i never faced any such problems with it though. I'd suggest you have the bike checked by a good competent mech, im sure he would have a solution to this problem. Getting spares for the KB100 is a bit of a problem. Fortunately though some places here in Mumbai do stock spares for the KB100. Diagnose the issue first thoroughly else you'll end up buying things that are not required to be changed.

Re: Rotor Plate for KB 100 RTZ

write an email to bajaj auto they'll have someone call you and help you. I had done this once when I needed original clutch plates for my KB100 RTZ. Sai Service came to my rescue though their service charge was rather expensive it was peace of mind and my bike is back on the road.
