I've actually read the entire photologue more than a few times and sat back and thought to myself, man, that mustve been one fantastic weekend. Thanks to everyone for taking the time to capture and share the memories, both in words and photos (and blanking out the license plates ), for the rest of us. And to think it all started with a small Sunday morning breakfast ride many months ago. May the tribe increase and let the good times roll.

Hey Sojogator,
Sorry, had been hiding for a few days (months i guess). Did not know you guys were riding that day too! I was in the group organized by the showroom. We have a Kawasaki group called the Kamikaze's as well. Hope to meet you sometime in the next ride. The ZX14R is a hoot. This belongs to one of my friends. Please PM me in case you are riding any weekend. Would love to meet up with the group!

I don't think most of us would be riding tomorrow. The roads would be crowded with bikers what with the Independence Day Ride that most biking clubs have organised.
I definitely would be riding the next weekend and you could join in if you're interested. The destination would be Horsley Hills (I've been wanting to go there for quite some time now!).

Re: Bangalore - Sunday Morning Short Rides

Watch out on the last climb to Avalabetta, the road is narrow and there are bikes coming down and going up at the same time. It used to be peaceful but nowadays there is a lot of traffic there.

Ride up the Mountain - Nandi Hills

late Friday night (Aug 7th), couple of us decided to ride to Nandi Hills early next day. we decide to meet up near Coringa (restaurant) on the new airport road and then push off from there. i was the first one on the spot, followed by Sojo and Shane. couple of others who were tentative couldn't join due to prior commitments.

thus, the three musketeers - Sojo, Shane and me, mounted our steeds and charged up the hill. these short videos should tell you the story.

on our way back we stopped at Indian Paratha Company for some awesome mouth watering parathas/ parathzas and hot beverages - ginger tea, lemon tea, cappuccino. after we had our fill we suited up, said our goodbyes and rode off.

until next time, ride safe comrades.

Re: Bangalore - Sunday Morning Short Rides

Anyone knows what is the correct db level for the exhuast? At what RPM should it be measured? How far from the tip of the exhaust? Are the cops qualified to understand this? Do they have the equipment to measure this?

Anyway, I think this needs a separate thread by itself. Also, most vehicles even with aftermarket exhaust without baffles should pass this test if carried out according to the what has been laid out.

Nice video Iron!
A friend and I went up Nandi on the 16th Sunday and we did not get the foggy wet weather. We were kind of looking forward to it. Which year model is your 650? Are you on the KNOG whatsapp group?

Mine is a 2015 model. I'm not on the KNOG group yet; have to get myself added.

Re: Bangalore - Sunday Morning Short Rides

This Sunday Shanenanigans and I are riding to Horsley Hills. We will be taking the Chintamani - Madanapalli route. The distance one way should be around 160 kms.
The rendezvous is at 6 AM in front of the ITI Gate in KR Puram (just after the Hanging Bridge).

You could ping either of us if you'd like to join.
