Thanks for the video IronHawk. Nicely done! I guess it was no-roading rather than off-roading. But in fact, it was nice to throw the bike on that bad section of road.

Only the dukes, the Striple and my CBR enjoyed the road.

Plan is for tomorrow, sunday morning:

1. Meet : Nice road and Mysore road junction
2. Breakfast at Channapatna
3. Karighata
4. Bellur Cross
5. Back

Some will return after breakfast from channapatna.

8 riders have been confirmed till now.

Any ride planned for next weekend, Oct 17-18?

I am planning to go for a two day ride next weekend, leaving on Sat and coming back on Sun. Anyone interested? Of course, with full riding gear.

let me be the first to post some pictures from the ride last Sunday.

we all met up at the Mysore Road/NICE road exit (we were nine of us), had tea and exchanged pleasantries and after a while started for our next stop - Vaishali, the breakfast point. weaving through the traffic (just a tad bit better than Saturday's) we reached Vaishali and boy were we famished; settled down and had a feast post breakfast, three of us returned due to prior engagements and only the remaining six proceeded to Karighatta Hills. we spent some time there, going up and down enjoying the winding road and took some pictures too.

on our way back, we came through Belur Cross, Nelamangala and Yeshwantpur (didn't want to ride back with the maddening Sunday return traffic on Mysore Road). the return route had much less traffic and most of the route was good roads. once we hit the highway, it was a breeze getting back. oh, we stopped at Polar Bear to enjoy some ice cream in the hot weather!

Planning on a ride this Saturday. The route's mostly village roads, so I'm not sure about their condition.

The route I've decided upon is: Bangalore - Devarayanadurga- Madhugiri - Gauribidanur - Sidlaghatta - Hoskote - Bangalore. The distance should be around 272 kms.
