Project-Sans Mcqueen

I have started Project-Sans Mcqueen on my 2003 Model Thunderbird under which I'll be re-modelling my entire bike on the lines of RoyalMcqueen Supernaag from Italy. A sample photo of my inspiration is attached.

I am getting the sheet metal parts done from Bitto denter, Jhandewalan.

I have also got some plans to upgrade the performance aspects of the machine. For this I have got a super pimped performance carb BS 29 with K&N filter from Pune. In this carb I have got up-jetting of main jet and some slide porting to for better accelerator response.

This entire Carb and filter set up is for Rs 5300.
The Entire Modification is doen with a nudget of Rs 30,000.

The Sans Mcqueen would work for me as a display as well as leisure bike in Bangalore.

PFA some pics of the carb as well.

The WIP will be posted soon

All the best for your project..

So Sans Inc would be operating from Bangalore now?

btw, how much did the K&N filter cost you? Which model is it?

Can't comment yet Saurabh, the remaining parts will probably make all the difference.

Suggestions:
  • When you change the mudguard, replace those fork boots with those from Hero Honda.
  • Remove the 'SANS' decals from the tank. It'll look better plain.
  • Cut the rear mudguard more, but that would render it useless in the rains.

1.I am definitely going to change the the rubber covers frm the forks. These covers were originally meant fr REs but they mar the look of the bike.I'll probably go in fr some other brand.

2. The Sans logo is embossed in the tank and I personally love it..The Mcqueen would be more of a leisure as well as Display bike for our company.

3. The mudguard would be cut once I'll finalised the rear number plate.

Could you pls post the other side, I mean the right hand side of the motorcycle? I see the brake rod on the left & at a point I was wondering what's the break rod got to do with the gear shift pedals. But after a while I understood that the break rod should've been connected to the other side of the motorcycle & hence the request. Tks.
