Another "phoren" Enfield Custom!

Don't say didn't warn you! It's quite weird and the rider would most defenitely need "butt" insurance

QUOTE :

You don’t always need exotic underpinnings or titanium sidestands to take home a trophy at a bike show. ‘Rat Racer’ has just won its class at the Biker Fest in Udine, Italy, and it’s based on nothing more exotic than a Royal Enfield Bullet 350. The Bullet is a stone-age air-cooled thumper—cast iron—and one of the few motorcycles still in production with front drum brakes and a right-foot gear shift. But with an anemic 20hp available from the stock engine, those brakes will not be taxed too hard. It’ll be a fun machine to ride and it looks remarkably good—good enough to hold its own against some very expensive competition. So full credit goes to builders Michele Gamberini and Breska of Alambiccus Garage, who were assisted by renowned custom builder Roberto Totti. Totti has built more than one Enfield 350 in his time, and it looks like his advice was well-heeded. Check out the Alambiccus blog, and Roberto Totti’s own (new) blog is worth a visit too, as well as his website. [Via the always excellent Rocket Garage.]

I love it, just lacks a proper cafe seat. And they've done the easy way out for the rearsets. Just flipped the gear lever. Two advantages to this: Gears will be one down three up like a normal bike and the other is enough leverage for smooth gear shifts.

no rear suspension
That explains the cycle seats loaded with springs

@Josepeter - just have few questions, appreciate your answers
- Even though the rear fenner is a small one, but why have one, when the front fenner is missing?
- Where are the front brakes or are the pics taken before fitting the front brakes?
- What is the significance of cutting down the front drum partially? Has this got any relation to the front brakes?

Aarrgee, That bull ain't mine; just stumbled on it on the net!

But my take on your queries:

- If you look closely; the rear fender is rather strategically placed; else you would have a rather weak spot near the crotch.
- Since there is no brake lever either; i guess there are no front brakes!
- Since there aren't any f-brakes; why not lose some unsprung weight?

BTW : i did like the head-lamp (not exactly) placement!
