International Jawa Yezdi Day - Bangalore, July 11th

Hey Guys,

Firstly, I've searched the forum rules but I'm still not entirely sure if posting this here is appropriate. So moderators please do feel free to move this post to an appropriate place and let me know if this is wrong.

I just wanted to let people know that I'll be heading to the International Jawa-Yezdi Day Rally at Kanteerva.

Details according to the Bangalore Jawa Yezdi Motorcycle Club:

International Jawa Yezdi Day 2010 - Bangalore.

11th July 2010, Sunday
Venue - Sree Kanteerava Stadium
07:30 am

Ride to destination will be communicated later

T-shirt will be sold at the venue and also will be sold at the selected Mechanic shops during the 1st week of July 2010.

I'm sure most Yezdi and Jawa boys (and girls?) in Bangalore already know about this but just thought I'd share it in case some didn't.

It'd be nice to finally meet some of the people who we've interacted with on the message boards and put some faces (and bikes) to the xbhp nicknames.

Alrighty then, here's a bad shot of my 1996 Roadking (Layla). Will be at the meet on Sunday, will keep an eye out for 3152.

Bangalore is the happening place guys.A Fiat club,Yamaha Enticer Club,RD 350 Club and a Yezdi/Jawa Club..way to go.

I too was hoping to be there with my Yezdi 350 which is undergoing restoration, unfortunately due to bad weather, painting is not complete and cannot be there. You guys have fun, will try to be there to see the other beauties.

Fee is a meagre 50 bucks upon entry. Additional 300 bucks (optional) gets you a real nice T-Shirt (dark green with white printed logo etc), and a commemorative sticker. All payable payable at the venue, so no issues.

Rahul, I dont think i should disclose anything in particular about any motorcycles, as its just some info picked up in passing, however reliable the source. If true, it'll be sight for sore eyes!!

Oh, is anyone else dutifully jotting down bike numbers from these pics, to ensure everyone meets everyone?

Guys, what is this? Everyone is having a mint Yezdi? Aah!!! the pics are blowing my mind. Hats off to you guys to have maintained it in such a mint condition.

Question to @RKSANS - How come your cylinder head is different than OE? Could you pls share the details? Tks.

My uncle was a big Jawa fan and mechanic in Jaipur. Unfortunately we lost him to cancer earlier this year. He used to tell us a lot of stories about his Jawa from his college days.
