Hey Alok,

Thanx for the compliments, the breakup of cost is as given:

1. Cylinder Head Argon Welding, machining and Lapping: Rs. 800
2. New Valves: Rs. 300
3. Gasket: no idea
4. Labour: Rs. 500

I dont remember the price of the gasket as i made a lumpsum payment.

Ride Safe,

hey navin,

glad that the bike is running fine now & the problems have been resolved.

the welding if done properly, would make the head as good as new & it should serve you fine.

ride safe.

Leepower, could you please tell me which mechanic do you take your bullet to?
