Common man you should do atleast this much

Btw what do you want actually you seem so confused, you want ZMA\Pulsar beater ?? 1st it was cheap 2 stroke because you already have 4 strokes now a bike which will beat the two bike but still be cheap and you dont even want to work for it, i mean for second hand no one can tell you whats available or not.. you will have to go out & check.
Also you expect every member from differen city to go\call yamaha dealers & enquire about an RX while you cant even call up the delaer in your own city ??

Yamaha still makes those great RXs

Well yes, thats true. You do not necessarily need an old stock bike. However that does not mean you can have a new one so easily either. See the fact is like this. If you go to the Yamaha plant you will be surprised to see those gleaming RXs parked rows after rows. Yamaha does make them, but does not sell them here in India. Mostly these are exported to countries like Bangladesh and some such countries where the strokers are still sold in huge numbers.

As for India, Yamaha stopped selling them here what with strict emission norms which were difficult to meet with a 2 stroker. Moreover the age of the two strokers has long since passed in this country. Maybe if you are really interested and contact Yamaha directly they may just agree to sell you one.

Hey zappo, Is that confirmed news?? I know that the rx-z is still on sale in Malaysia and thailand though.

I have still not landed in India.

What I am confused about is this.

I loved the 2-stroke performance but
I loved those cruiser rides tooo

and I can only buy 1 bike

Looks like I yamaha rx-z it is. can any1 tell if it is possible to ask yamaha to get a new rx-z special ordered? the 5-speed with disc brake model is what I would want to own.
machismo is a cruisers delight...bt rx-135/rxz are sheer showstoppers...they have had tremedous success in their times n yamaha ..two different bike segments to talk about...bt i guess any1 who lives in city would prefer rxs coz they r so awesme to drive...machismo and lightning 535 are just heavy duty cruisers..

I would suggest the Yammies. Enfields are a pain to own imho. Unless you are that hardcore 'biker dude'. Cruising is a breeze, but then you can cruise on a moped too. The difference being the speed you are cruising on. LOL

I have an RX-135 5-speed. My first bike was the RXZ 4-speed and the only reason I do not have the 5-speed variant is that it was not out when I bought my new pair of wheels. The only grouse I have with the Z is the sloping seat which caused me to slide forward while hard braking and the skinny tyres. My 135 has Yezdi rubber on the rear and I am hunting for that disc brake still.
