90k is a sweet price. However, would really want more engine refinement and better NVH than my P180 has.

Hence a 250cc double though priced equal to a 350cc single makes more sense.
hehe what do you have to say about RE thunderbird which sells for close to 1Lakh

Anyways its not the bike which was shown in the pic.

In all its probability the bike would be a single cylinder & not surely a 250 but 2xxcc the 50 part I believe has been added by people.

For those who are waiting for a new bike to buy, all I can say is watch out for the AutoExpo 2006 in Delhi, oops ok thats all I can tell right now

well, Bajaj Avenger looks tiny in front of my HyoSung aquila.

When I drive my aquila in front of avengers they really give me surprising looks as they were thinking I am feeling like god and they are driving some cheap gizmo

well, enough ranting, India really needs to catch up on V-Twin engines. After driving V-Twin engine I must say nothing beats its performance ! but again price factor kicks in.

jk, the premium bike segment is truly hotting up; when the zma was launched, nobody expected people to shell out 85g's for such wheels- but now, every fifth or sixth or tenth bike is a damn zma; the premium segment is where the money lies, and the manufacturers are realising this. pretty soon, we shall see the likes of R1's and fireblades being sold here, with factory warranty. and by soon, i do not mean a month or two, but perhaps a year or two...

and oh, yes; the biking mania is now all the more on the rise; call it a post-dhoom effect, but i'm seeing SBK's pretty often now....

as for the bajaj 250, it could be a twin (perhaps a V) in all probability, as the tech is being borrowed from the kawis.. all i know is, we are gonna see some action soon enough...

Rumors of Bajaj 250 have been floating around for quite some time. After waiting on it long enough I settled for a Pulsar 180. I hope they dont break my heart by introducing one next month. (2 months after I got my Pulsar 180)

Wait till teh Autoc Expo, its rumoured that it will be showcased there, btw in all its probability it would be a 210-220 single cylinder. But i have my fingers crossed for 250 V-twin

yes 220 single, most likely. I think better NVH and the pre-DTSi handling is what you need - minus the tail twitchiness. I don't want to do way more than 110 anyways, I'd rather do a more comfortable 90 all day long esp if its below 75k!

Was suprised to hear Bajaj launching a 250 cc ..... well it is about time that Indian bikes became more powerful.... I always thought super bikes will do better in India than super cars.. I'm sure the bajaj 250 will be a huge success.

I am waiting is all I will say. bajaj has surprised us with the pulsar twins and the eliminator before.

A 250cc twin cannot be ruled out considering the comet has sold well.
