Which Indian bikes will become future classics?

Over the years, the indian biking scene has witnessed the coming and going of several hundreds of models; some of which will go down in history as massive successes, some which bit the dust never to be remembered again. However, there are the select few which remain in the hearts and minds of the masses well after their discontinuation, and go on to become the forever worshiped classics.
We all know of the classics; the RD 350s, the jawas, the bullets, the zundapp (read royal enfield) fury, etc. We all yearn for one despite their known shortcomings; Even as scrap they hold immense value and are fought over.

So here comes my question, Of all the bikes launched in the 21st century, which ones do you feel will go on to become future classics? Please understand that this has nothing to do with popularity or usability or reliability; just that which modern bikes will go on to achieve cult status and fan-clubs formed after them twenty years from now. which?

Feankly, I don't feel any of them really fit the bill, but of the current breed here are the ones I feel might make it(in no chronological order):
1. R-15-for simply being the best possible piece of engineering in the segment
2. Apache RTR 160-for being the only true acceleration and cornering maniac to take on after the RXs
3. pulsar family-for obvious reasons, namely starting the trend of the sports cruiser

The Karizma doesn't fall in the oldies nor in the newbies category ....... but wouldn't that be considered as a reliable ( and fast ) classic bike in the future?

All Suzuki India's motorcycles. They come and disappear so fast that no one can buy them. Slingshot is a future contender. I already have a 'classic' -- Suzuki Heat!!!

I don't they would ever become "classics" except the Apache. Apart from these I think it will be the CI 5 Speeds and the AVL bikes..

All bullet models, RD 350, Yamaha RX 100, Hero Honad CD 100, Karizma and the Pulsar Clan will be highly sought after bikes for a collector.

If HH stops thr production of Splendor then 20 years from now it will become a classic.
The very first HH CBZ for pioneering the 150cc craze
Suzuki/TVS Fiero
The RE Machismo 500

I think what conrod means is what new bike that you can buy from a showroom now, will get a frenzied fan following a few years from now. Back in the '80s, no one wanted to buy the RD350, Now people are willing to pay upwards of a lakh for the same.
I would vote for R15. Plan to buy one now, use it sparingly and sell it for 3 lakhs in 2020.

wildsdi5530 is right, what I meant at the start of the topic was which bike that you could walk into a showroom and buy from say 2000 onwards would/will become a classic say by 2020. so bikes like the RX 100 and RD 350 are out coz they are already classics... I guess the list can be corrected and updated as follows (again no chronological order)
1. R15
2. Apache RTR 160
3. Pulsar family
4. HH Karizma-it was the first fully faired bike that became the bedroom poster for teenage boys.
4. The original HH CBZ- as iron said
Quote:
for pioneering the 150cc craze
I still remember the first print ads of the bike and looking at them makes me want to buy the bike all over again.
5. Kinetic Hyosung Aquila-dies it need a reason? was so exclusive even at its launch that you can forget about 2020.
6. Kinetic Honda- for being the only scooter that could put most bikes to shame
7. Kinetic Blaze- probably the best scooter india has ever seen
8. Suzuki Fiero- for being the daddy of the apache family.

Please remember the original conditions, the list has nothing to do with popularity or usability or reliability. And also please note that I am not including any RE vehicles in the list coz frankly, no matter what RE makes it ends up being a classic anyway!

More inputs wanted...
