The Importance of Marketing

....and image and promotional activities.

Just read this "interesting" article MSNBC Linky If you watch discovery, you are probably familiar with this father son duo from California.

Point is - Their bikes actually suck in quality. And the worksmanship is not that good. But a 3 + 4 year contract with Discovery has made this American Chopper star a lot of $$$$$$

I never liked their attitudes.

Shouting foul words, throwing auto parts around..

No honour at all.

A big part of that $$$$$$ is because of attitude.

I much prefer Overhauling. Chip Foose is kewl and compared to the egos at OCC, Chip comes across as humble.

Biker Build off is a much nicer show and they had Indian Larry. Larry passed away on Aug 30, 2004 yet he was from my neck of the woods and we Brooklynites stick together. I guess the Lord's chopper was broken and he wanted the best to fix it.

You must admit, some of their designs are pretty good.

Personally, I think Billy Lane's the best of the lot.
