This is an awesomely useful thread.
I was looking for the 'workshop manual' (I have the users manual) of the Pulsar 220 S (the carburetted version). I need this urgently, especially the wiring diagrams. Anyone can help?

Hi all

I am looking to restore a Kinetic Pride FX due to sentimental reasons. I am looking for the workshop manual and a spare parts guide. All the workshops i have contacted refuse to take up this work.

I had been working on this bike and maintaining it till 2007 all the way from 1998 but now i need to open up the gear box and i would like to do it only if i have the workshop manual and the spare parts guide.

Need help from Team-bhp team to help me get the same

Thanks to alok_balsekar we are collecting owner's manuals; which is a shame really - all current and past owner's and workshop manuals should be freely available at the respective manufacturer's sites.

I have asked for Honda scooter workshop manuals and the replies were an arrogant "No."

Car manufacturers are a little more obliging, maybe because most car manuals are available at the manufacturer's parent sites and the cars themselves are not exclusive to India. [tough luck if you are looking for an Asia specific model].

So if you read my post on CCI action against unfair practices by Motorcycle/Scooter/Car manufacturers
and urge the CCI to investigate the unfair practices of our Mighty Motorcycle Manufacturers Cartel, we may see these workshop and owners manuals available freely. And maybe even get spare parts at reasonable prices. [my scooter service bill always exceeds my M800 service bill].

Try to find books on two wheeler repairs ,by Mr. V. L . Patil . These will be / may be Available at AB chowk book market Pune .

These are wonderful books & if you can get all his publications , then there is nothing like it , but these are in Marathi ( thats not a problem for you ) .


He is my teacher ( did a University course under his guidance in 85 , I am blessed to have him as a guide ) , now runs a Xerox shop near Nigdi railway station . PM me for his Mo.

Hello Folks,

Here are pictures of the Lambretta 150 LD Instruction Manual which my father had long back. The scooter was used by my father way before I was born. It was later sold to a friend.
