RE Cafe Racer and V-twin???

My mechanic had gone for a training in Royal Enfield factory in Chennai last month. The overexcited dude today said to me that RE is gonna bring out a 650CC cafe racer by next year. He even told me that they are gonna make some V-twin bike. Now, I am not too sure about the V-twin part. But cafe race is a little believable tale. What is your take guys??

well company always shows the concept cafe racers in various auto shows.
& 650 conversion kits are widely available in overseas market for CI engines for ages.

if there will be any such product it will be for export & not for Indians.
i dont think that company will dare to go in v twin territory.

Moderator v12 is a cafe-racer specialist, if I'm right. There are several members on Team-BHP who have done the cafe-racer conversions. A quick search should reveal that. It will be interesting to see factory-cafe racers from Royal Enfield. They always show-case several cafe-racers at various shows.

The V-Twin motor seems plausible. But I'm not sure. Never heard of a RE-twin. Or is that because of my ignorance?

In Australia, they is a company called Carberry Enfield. They make 1070 cc Bulls with v-twin engines. Basically they used RE's engine.
Welcome to CARBERRY ENFIELD
Then there is an NRI chap who made a 700 CC v-twin

I'm sorry but the red cafe displayed by RE is just rubbish compared to what they offer overseas. Moreover, its very very ugly.

This is more like a cafe from RE:
