Team-BHP - Buying a used Honda Dio

I have finalized to buy a used Honda Dio and the below are the details:

1) Year of manufacture/registration: Aug 2010
2) Kms run: 2685.
3) Usage: Sparingly used.
4) Vehicle condition: Good
5) Vehicle colour: Black + Purple
6) No accidents.
7) Couple of scratches

Finalized amount: Rs.42,500/-

This was used by one of my friend as he is transferred to other city, he wants to sell this. Since I was looking for a used Honda Activa/Dio for my wife, I want to go ahead with the above.

Is this a good deal.

srini what's the price of the new Honda Dio ? IMO 42,xxx is a tad bit expensive, I did say try and bargain a little more.

Yes, it is a decent price for a 5 month old vehicle. I presume this is the refresh model..Love the mudguard on this one.

Even I feel its a fair deal.
6 months and only 2.6k run is very sparingly used.Try negotiating a bit more, its worth it.
Check service records properly.In 6 months time 2 services should be completed atleast.

It's a good deal. Pick it up. Scratches are not a problem. Just get the affected panel replaced. They are cheap.
