Fiat Spare Parts - Kava Automobile (Mumbai)

Products Sold:
Almost all spares for FIAT's right from the Uno to the Linea, right from wheels to engines and that to for atleast 50% of the cost of the authorized dealers. Best example is the Linea alloys, which costs 10k at the dealer, while Kava offers them for about 5.5k.

Has in stock most of the spares that are hardly available for Uno's and Palio's and almost all components for the Linea and Punto.

What I Like:
Order over phone and get the items delivered to your city. Payment through fund transfer to their account.

Things I have bought from them:
1. 14" Steel wheel for my Palio for Rs. 600/-
2. Combination swith for my Linea for Rs.2500/- (dealer quoted 7.5k for the same minda make).

Thank you very much h14. It can't get any better than this.

People on various forums have been lambasting Fiat for non-availibility of spare parts. This, I think, may put to rest some of those allegations.

Let us know about the quality of products that you've bought from them. Anyone apart from h14 dealt with Kava Automobiles in Mumbai?

Kava might be new to most people in here, but for members at PUG (Palio Users Group), this is a one stop shop for all needs. I have never had any issues with regard to materials purchased from them. The outer box/packaging materials would in most cases be dirty and the parts too might arrive in a dusty condition, but I have never had any issues in quality. (My combination switch too arrived in a very dusty condition)

Bought a set of Logos (Front and rear) for 500/-. Dealer had quoted me 800/- per piece. He has a small shop but then might be sourcing things from other places as well. When I asked about spares, he said, you name it and I will get it for you. People from PalioUsersGroup on Yahoo had good experience with this fellow.

Re: Fiat Spare Parts - Kava Automobile (Mumbai)

Hi All,

Has anybody got Linea or Punto Alloys from Kava? I am planing to buy, but I heard from some people that they might ship bent alloys or used ones. Has anyone experienced this? How much I can trust them?
This is for my friend, he stays in Bangalore. He is not able to decide. Please help.

Re: Fiat Spare Parts - Kava Automobile (Mumbai)

Nice and quite informative thread for fiat car owners. The issue of spare parts availability has discouraged many a discerning customers who otherwise were quite convinced on the specialty of FIAT cars .This initiative would come as a breather to fiat owners .
My palio is stranded for almost two months at the Tata Fiat dealerhip owing to nonavailability of rear wind glass shield
Lets see if the Kava guys are able to procure it for me.

I've just ordered Minimal Gray Linea Emotion Pack Front Left Door Handle Unit with Chrome Beading.
The cost is around Rs. 275 and which costs Rs. 500 in A.S.S.
Silver Beading alone won't be available and we need to buy the entire unit.

As I posted earlier, I have tried giving call to Kava for more than 25 times. But he was very reluctant to send the front left door handle for Emotion Linea as it's of price lesser than Rs. 300.
So finally gave up and ordered in VST and bought it for Rs. 500.
The new piece is in Black Color and I clipped out the Chrome and pasted it in my car door handle using Araldite.
Now my Silverstreak back to the shape.
