My bad got mixed up between the names.

As I said earlier the swirls were reduced and not totally gone.

Well if i am paying Rs.50xx for the Advanced Paint Sealent treatment then i expect 100% swirls removal specially on a black car as its visible the most on a black car.

I said improvement was there but it did NOT justify the money asked for.
Neither in my post i am saying that the work they do is a Hogwash but from price point of view the cost is not justified for the quality of work given there are many better detailers out there in the industry who do better job and also at times at cheaper price or atleast same price.

No as this treatment is limited to the underbody only and hence called as UnderBody treatment.

The 3M paint sealant can be done after 3 months for a new car???

Its rainy season & I got my car delivered in July , so was thinking of getting it done post rains????

saw the new 1 yr car exterior plan being advertised on the facebook page of 3m.

Called up the borivali centre and it includes 1 paint sealant and 2 power shine. 4 car wash is being given free. the cost was `11k which looked steep.

what do you think guys? whats the ideal car care plan to keep that shine

Met Rekha yesterday and I got the Paint Sealant and Interior Germiclean treatment done. Also bought the 2 year AMC package costing 22466/- for my Linea TJET. it includes 3 exterior and 3 interior treatments with Foam wash free everytime a treatment is done. With personal touch, it was great experience and now my Jet is taken care-off for the next 2 years. Totally worth it.

Also, I personally know that anyone in India had the Paint Protection Film treatment here in India (call me ignorant ), but 3M has it. I check the FlexFilm used for this treatment, it was thick, transparent, stretchable (flexible) and virtually invisible after application. I saw a Verna being wrapped with this film. Antirust treatment on a new car is understood by what is the use of th 3M paint sealant on a new car. when inquired at the andheri branch, I was told the the effect of it remains for 10-12 months only and there is no warranty on it like Antirust. so what does this paint sealant do on a new car and how effective is it and is it worth getting it done along with the Antirust on a new car?

There is a 3M Car Care opening soon on Malad Link Road next to Vijaya Bank. Currently work is being carried out, i guess it should open in the coming months!

Got my Ritz extrerior polishing done few months back over here and got my civics interior germiklean plus done today.

Overall I am not 100% happy with both the services compared to what I have seen in other places at half the cost. There is absolutely no attention to detail by the staff, they just get in - do a shabby job and leave.

My Ritz started developing patches (I am assuming due to the wax/product left over that attracted dust in the long term) which could not be washed off. My civic does not have a touched up / shiny dashboard inspite of 5k+ interior package.

Nomore 3M for me !

Posting this a bit late. We had given our Swift VXi to 3M car care. There were some ugly swirl marks on the car which we wanted to get rid of. We opted for power shine plan, which costed us Rs 4200.

The work done was a disappointment. The marks for which we went to them were removed. But attention to detail was totally lacking. Hard water salt deposits were not removed at all. The car looked much better after the treatment, but definitely not as much as I had expected. They did not deliver the car at the promised time. Dad had to wait for extra hour.

I will not opt for 3M the next time around. It was not worth Rs 4.2K spent. We may try Auto Shine next time (link to thread).

Hi Dieseltuned, i had got my car's underbody treatment done lung time back, post that have gone once to get it checked. Besides never got the time to be there.

However, every time i pass the shop I have always seen it fully occupied, cars up on the Bay and people working on them. Guess the place is doing well.

Many of the posts express dissatisfaction but seems the price we pay versus the expectation are not meeting ends.

I would suggest go there and be with the car while you get your work done.
