Got my Etios detailed over the last weekend.

His new workshop is better maintained than the old one in Kothari compound.

Another high satisfactory service and recommendable job by Mangesh and team.
My Vista got the much needed 'Max Shine', though I managed to keep her shining in my own way for 4-5 months. I scheduled an appointment for early Saturday morning 9AM. Mangesh's regular garage, where he used to wash cars was closed (I forgot the reason), so we drove to one in front of Spectra Motors. They did a fine job washing the hard stuck dirt.
Mangesh's team did a fine job with my car, I was little apprehensive about couple of bird droppings, which I missed to clean for 2 days. My luck, it didn't burn into the paint and his team did the rest of the magic.

The quality of work remains top-notch, no doubt about it. He charged me the same amount, he did last September. So double happy. He also updated me about the number plates too, the Embossed type. Planning to order the number plates this weekend as I might be in Thane side.

Another fabulous job done by Mangesh and his team at Maxshine to restore my Vista to glory! The rains had really messed her up big time this year, with around 80 kms per day and with weekend chores, the spa session kept on being delayed. Also with the rains playing spoil sport, kept on delaying the session. Finally this Sunday, got my baby detailed and boy she looks good! Had taken her to the TASC for a free checkup and body wash on Saturday, which removed a layer of muck, only to reveal tar spots all over. Mangesh took the car and got it thoroughly washed once again to do what he does best.

Now let the pics do the talking. First up are the pics after the wash by TASC, which reveals the tar spots. Please don't flame me looking at the interior pics, the fabric of the OE seat covers is such that, even a drop of water leaves ugly marks. Also since we do car pooling, there are 3-4 people always in the car with A/C always ON, strict rules followed no drinking (apart from water),eating or smoking in the car!

Had been to Mangesh to get my Punto detailed and must say he did a fantastic job. He and his team ensured that the punto was restored back to its pristine glory. My son even did asked me whether we bought a new Punto. All this during the time when the Thane Arts festival was in full swing near Upvan lake and the road was jammed with people. The pics of my Punto can be seen in my thread link. I would definitely recommend Max shine and Mangesh for that extra touch to the cars and at an affordbale rate (far less than the 3M but same qaulity).

I got the exterior detailing done on my Manza from Maxshine in first week of January. My newbie status then prevented me from posting in this section. This was the first ever treatment for my Manza in 2.5 years of ownership. Mangesh is a humble and down-to-earth guy and I must say that his team did a fabulous job on my car. Almost all minor scratches were gone and few major ones were greatly reduced. Swirl marks were still visible although to a much lesser extent than earlier. I am certainly going to be a frequent visitor for him in future. Here are some after-the-treatment pics taken a day after in my apartment parking.

I had my 7 yr old Wagon R detailed by Mangesh and his team last week. I'd been very lazy to get this done and it was 7yrs without any TLC - I love that about this car, its very low on TLC requirements.

MaxShine did an absolutely fantastic job with the interior and exterior detailing and it looked like an absolutely new car inside and out. Small scratches on the exterior have been removed and its got a really nice shine to it.

My home parking lot sees my Silver WagonR parked next to my neighbours Silver BMW. The day after the detailing and indeed till now, I get a smile on my face when this 7yr old workhorse shines brighter than the neighbor.

Unfortunately, I had the family chauffeur take the car there as it was a weekday, so no time to click before and after pics either.
The other car will also be going to MaxShine in a couple of weeks, so will hopefully remember to click and post pics then.

Hi Guys,

Gave our 4 year Old Xylo for 'The Max Shine' treatment for the first time as its usage is low. Had taken her to Gir and the trip made sure that the detailing session cannot be delayed any longer. Here are a few pics, as usual splendid job done by Mangesh and his team!!

Thanks Mobike008! He uses 'Meguiars' detailing products. The complete Interior and exterior detailing for the Xylo costs Rs.4500.

On speaking to Mangesh during one of the SPA sessions he mentioned that MAX SHINE's coming up with a brand new outlet near Vihang Inn at a shop in the lane leading to D-Mart behind Vihang INN.

The Xylo does stand put post the detailing treatment. No wonder I spot you often in the Xylo these days, what happened to the Indica?

I have recently availed Max shine's services. A bit of background first. I own an Alto K10 (midnight black) and make daily runs via the EEH to Matunga and then onwards to Taloja via the Sion-Panvel highway. The car has done 28000 Km's to date and is about 2 years old. Black is a difficult colour to maintain and over the past few months the car seemed to have lost its shine and sheen.Max Shine's workshop is just opposite to Upvan lake in Thane and it all started when i was mulling about getting the detailing done from 3M when i whizzed past the workshop (I had not gone through this thread at that point of time). Took a U-turn and enetered the shop. Mangesh was out for lunch, hence took his contact details from his employees and later on called him up. He was very nice to talk to and soon enough an appointment was set for the forthcoming week. On the day, i turned up at his workshop early in the morning (9:30 A.M) and he was already waiting for me inside. On seeing the stickers on my car, his first question was-"Are you a BHPian?" and when i replied in the affirmative, i got rewarded with a beaming smile. To cut a long story short, he took my car in (had asked for an undebody treatment as well along with detailing- Yes, they do provide it) and i soon left. Got back in the evening and this is what greeted me:








My car was literally glowing! I could use the hood as mirror (not joking).I really could not stop a big smile from spreading across my face. Mangesh remarked that, once his staff got to know that i am a BHPian, he did not need to guide them any further and they gave my vehicle the full treatment . He said they knew the high standards which we set for our cars. All in all a wonderful job done by Mangesh and his team.

Pros:
1) He is in the business for passion and not for volumes.
2) Personal attention to each and every car.
3) Detailing means 'absolute' detailing- then even removed my number plates for cleaning.
4) Dedicated and harworking staff who know their job.
5) Experience with a wide range of cars.
6) Economical and customer friendly (Total underbody coating and detailing cost Rs 5000/-)
7) Neat and well kept workshop
8) Special attention to T-BHP vehicles

Cons
1) Small workshop can take only two cars
He is the process of opening a new workshop in Thane with HVAC controlled atmosphere. One thing is for sure, my other cars will surely be visiting his workshop soon.

Its been ages since I visited Mangesh, the only reason being accessibility. His other workshop on GB road was easier to access. I do agree with the point no 8, he does take extra care for BHPian cars. I had suggested him to open an workshop somewhere nearer to Hiranandani Estate side to capture that market which presently is being catered by 3M.
