Mine was the normal detailing. Lij had opted for special treatment that's the reason his bill came to 4k and mine to 3k

It was interior, exterior detailing. Exterior include the engine bay cleaning.

Oh and does the exterior work include swirl removal? I mean is it just a polish job or do they do the whole 9 yards right from foam wash to clay bar to polish to sealant?

Yes, the entire process from wash to claying to wax to polish to sealant job. Where do you stay? In thane? Visit Mangesh once and he will provide you all the details or better call him. You can also avail T-BHP discount.

No i'm at Prabhadevi, Mumbai, but travel to thane frequently so can drop it.

Earlier i used Kamyo, but he charges 4500 just for exteriors and 3k for all you mentioned is a steal

Took my new Linea 125s for a paint protection treatment to Max Shine yesterday. Again a brilliant job by Mangesh and team, the car already had slight swirl marks out of the showroom which were all removed during the treatment. Was told that the car should be protected from oxidation and other such environmental pollution for close to 6 months.

Adding my two cents, I had the pleasure to meet Mangesh personally and have my cars detailed from him.
Initially I gave my hatch back Polo for an exterior and interior detailing. Mangesh and his team did a fabulous job on both the treatments –looks like he does all of these in a dust free environment. My car was really in a bad shape and when I received it – it was a marvelous job done. I am pretty picky about such services (existing car spa and 3M customer – no negatives or offence about any of them).
To my surprise Mangesh delivers the car as depicted in the images below (the car is wrapped and kept awaiting you)

no swirl marks, the interior of the car was completely dust free, germ free and odor free (odor had been a predominant problem on my VW)
The attention to detail is par excellent! number plates removed and the metal beneath that is treated, interiors are sanitized and covered, the engine bay is a delicacy to see. all hard water marks removed without damaging the exteriors. at a price tag of 5k (inclusive interior and exterior) this was amazing.

In continuation with my post for the treatment of my Polo I went ahead for the ceramic coating of my new baby, the A3. I am reserving words, but it was a pleasure to look at the transformation on stock Audi paint (they use a really good one) VS what Mangesh delivered to me:

So the Punto needed some post monsoon pampering. After a long wait finally gave him to Mangesh of Max Shine with a prior appointment, the regular place where I give the car for detailing. In fact I was the first to reach his place even before Mangesh was there to open the shutters. As usual Mangesh excelled in the work. Looking at the car after detailing, I fell in love with her again. Mangesh has started the practice of wrapping the car post detailing for all the cars earlier it used to be only for the high end cars and bikes. Spotted a Jaguar XF and a Harley Davidson for detailing job.

@ Experts - Can a good detailing fix this?

Quoting my post from another thread to set the context of one issue at hand.

Mangesh's manager had assured me that the marks did affect the paint job and was superficial and would be taken care by them. This happened in July and I told I'll then get it fixed by them during my next detailing.

Today finally I got Bruno for the detailing session and now its looks almost as good as new, almost - due to a scratch which damaged some paint work and bird poop which I didn't notice for a couple of days and it did its damage )

@ghodlur, Mangesh did mention that you had visited him a few days ago.

Thanks to Mangesh and his team for their brilliant work once again

Good to see regular updates on this thread!

Got my Vista detailed after 3 years from Mangesh and the results are amazing. The level of professionalism has gone higher and the place is also a pleasure to visit. He is gaining lot of reputation in the Motorcycle segment as well!

Based on recommendation of fellow bhpian, had visited his store for car wash. Looks like they don't do car wash. Mangesh guided me to some service center near Honda showroom. Lost my way and landed up in 3M Car Care (Thane).

From what I saw, his store was busy. Couple of Harleys were waiting to be detailed.

The effort and small little intrecasies that you see them put in is brilliant

Yes they don't wash at their premises and their logic for that is attracting flies and insects and creating a mess

Got full detailing for my 2.5 years old Polo GT from Max Shine, Thane today. This was my Polo's first ever detailing in past 25,000 km. Since I have to park it on roadside, it was in dire need of detailing. There were numerous minor scratches and swirl marks all over the car. Living upto the expectation, I am very happy with the results - the car looks brand new!

I did not want to try 3M as there are ample of negative reviews of all the Mumbai centres off-late. I had tried Kamyo in past, but this time I did not have water and electricity supply in my parking lot. Thus, I decided to try Max Shine even though it was 25 kms away from my home (though I really enjoyed the drive on the empty roads this Sunday morning ). I was in touch with Mangesh to fix the appointment. He was patient to answer all my queries and reschedule the appointment twice. I met Pritesh at the shop at 9.30 am and he explained me everything that would be fixed. The work was finished by 2 pm as promised. The shop is right opposite Viviana mall in case you want to do some shopping while your car is getting a new life.

The workmanship is top notch and the charges are quite reasonable. This shop is big and can accommodate 4-5 cars simultaneously. There was a massive Rolls Royce getting royal detailing right inside the shop. I will let the pictures do the talking.
