After being impressed with their near perfect job, I decided to give my Ameo another pampering session. This time, I got company of my in laws Dzire and a month old Wagon R.

The work done as before was stupendous. They managed to get rid of some cement droppings on the bonnet without leaving any marks or scratch on it. Had done a 1800 Kms drive recently so the car needed to be carefully looked after and that is what it got. There were innumerable swirl marks, thanks to the Lapiz Blue colour and also driving between long dried grass.

Work on Dzire and Wagon R was good too. Wagon R being a new car, the difference was evident but may be as days go by the benefits shall be seen more.

There is still some scope of improvement. These days I see them very busy and taking 7+ cars each day. Not sure but human nature that the meticulous work they did with lesser cars may have gone down by few points. However, the price makes the value sweet. At this price point and the level of workmanship, it is an absolute winner among competition.

One gripe I have is that they did not delivery my and my brother in law's car wrapped like they did before. Would have made a lot of difference especially to a new customer (my in laws)

Based on the recommendations and experiences of fellow bhpians, i decided to give a call to Mangesh and take an appointment for my beast, the beast is 6 years old and had not seen a detailing center in all these years, all it has seen is Toyota service and daily washing. I must say Mangesh is very knowledgeable and he spent sometime talking with me and explaining things.

I did not get a chance to click before pictures, however here are some after pictures. It looked new as if i just got it from the dealership, i would highly recommend Maxshine based on the results below, he also gave me a discount for being a Team-BHP member.

Got the interiors of a friends Accord V6 done at Maxshine. The rear windshield glass was refitted a few days earlier to solve water leak and the guys there had done an amazing job of ruining the Well kept interiors. We took a morning appointment and went all the way from Bandra to Thane.

The experience at Maxshine was great, first the car was taken for a complimentary exterior wash. During wash they observed the alloys needed some care and went on to detail the alloys. Later two guys started with the interior and with great care and attention to detail they rejuvenated the interiors and make them spanking new. In the end they just charged for the interior and made the wash and tyre detailing complimentary. It was good to see Mangesh personally inspect everything car before and at the time of delivery.

So, I had referred this thread before taking my pre-owned Honda City 2012 to Maxshine. I had even spoken with Mangesh Sir before the car purchase, and I found him to be very welcoming and full of warmth!

So one fine day, I took the appointment and reached his shop before time, and within 15 minutes, there were 5 people working on my car! I liked that very much, and everyone was very happy to explain the process, the details and the products involved. The whole process took a good 4-5 hours, and the most appealing thing I found is that they offer prayers to the Indian flag as a part of their ritual. We had lengthy conversations during the course of the work and my Dad had accompanied me (for the wanted to see what all this detailing thing was).

I liked the outcome very much, and once in 6-8 months feels very appealing, although the effects aren't that pronounced now, because the City almost works as a beater car, I am overall satisfied, plus impressed with the attitude of everyone working there!

Did not answer or reply to calls. Read messages but did not reply. I guess I'll take my business elsewhere as they don't need it. This is what happens when they start doing well especially because of us team bhpians.

So finally Mangesh did call me back today and we had an in depth conversation about what I wanted on the car.

Once im done with all fittings I'll take the car for that initial detailing so that I can maintain it thereafter.

After much contemplating over whether to go for paint protection film or ceramic coating for my Hexa, decided to go for ceramic coating over PPF. I will not go in details about pros and cons of these two as there is already a lot of discussion on that in our forum. The main reason for me to opt for ceramic coating was its cost. Enquired at three to four detailers here in Mumbai including 3M. All were quoting me upwards 45K. Then I called Mr. Mangesh of Maxshine to whom I have gone before for interior detailing of my Verna. We had detailed discussion over phone about ceramic coating and he explained whole process involved in it. He also cleared the myths surrounded around ceramic coating. He offered me the best rate for the size of car like Hexa. Immediately fixed the appointment and reached to his shop on time. Without wasting any time his team started working on my Hexa. Mangesh told me it will take two days for the complete job. Mangesh is the person to whom you can trust without any doubts in mind. Like all of us he is also passionate about cars and knows what customer expects from him.
On second day Mangesh promptly called me that job is done and can collect the car. On reaching over there I was shocked to see my Hexa in new avatar. Hexa was completely transformed into beauty. It was looking far far better than the day i got it from showroom. Excellent job was done and completely satisfied with the end result. Now I will let the pictures talking.

The Elite i20 is a beater in my house and hence got the least TLC from me. After I sold the Skoda, the i20 became the primary car in the house and hence I decided to give it some much needed TLC. Got the suspension and clutch work from my trusty old FNG and then decided to take the car to Mangesh to bring it back to life.
I must admit that he and his team have done the most fantastic job that any one could have ever done. He is truly a magician when it comes to bringing cars back to their original condition. I must admit the i20 looks as if its just been delivered from the showroom. Simply brilliant job!
Slightly OT: I have been taking my cars to Mangesh for quite a few years now and every time I have come back with the widest grin on my face. The trip from Andheri to Thane is just worth it. Now let the pics do the talking.

Yesterday I had taken the car to Maxshine and they did an excellent job of removing the colour that got embedded in my clear coat from the coverwell cover I have. It took them 4 hrs or so and I'll let the pics talk. Will definitely go back after rains.

I have a foul smell issue in the interior of my White Figo S. Took it to Maxshine today and spoke to Pritesh. He mentioned that it is because of fungal growth and they will clean it thoroughly. There are few oxidation and many swirl marks on the extierior as well.
Previously I have taken my cars to them and the outcome has been fabulous. However, I would like to know from someone who have overseen their job about the step by step process they follow.

1. Do they clay the entire exterior of the car?
2. Do they wax the car in the end?
3. What kind of products do they use?
4. Can I get along a Turtle Wax and ask them to get one more layer of wax before delivery?

Got exterior detailing done on my Triber, Mangesh is very knowledgeable and answered all my queries. Booked the appointment a week in advance, left the car at 9:45 in the morning and it was ready by 2 in the afternoon.

My car has the Rouf Rails installed, they removed it for cleaning and polishing and then installed it back(polished them as well). I did not want interior detailing as the car interiors were already slathered with polish from Renault and the engine bay was clean as well.

Very happy with the job, he mentioned that they don't wax the cars anymore; instead they use the glaze + sealant combo. The products used for last step on my car were from Meguiar's mirror glaze range.

Mid Life Makeover, 9 years done and still more in counting!

Visited Maxshine yesterday for some makeover of our Honda city. This was our second outing to Maxshine 1st being in 2018. They still continue to amaze with the level of detail and the sincerity which they display when detailing the car. Got exterior, interior and engine bay work done.
The prices are fairly reasonable considering the amount of effort which they put into their Job.

Got my car detailed at Maxshine. Mangesh is very easy going and an honest guy. The car had loads of swirl marks and his team did a fabulous job in detailing it.

Since the place is a bit far from my house I got an appointment for Sunday. They do 5 cars per day and I was allotted the morning slot.

The car was delivered with great results. Also he offered a discount on his regular pricing when I mentioned that I got his reference from Team-Bhp.

That haze in the paintwork shouldn’t be there post coating (can also be described as blooming around spotlight reflections). Either the correction wasn’t proper or the coating wasn’t levelled properly. Do let the shop know.

Note: I see a similar haze/bloom in some other cars here as well, the blue Dzire and the burgundy City to mention a few. Maybe they were not full multi step paint corrections so wouldn’t necessarily say something’s wrong there (if they were full paint corrections then such a finish is not right.)

I had bought a 10 month old 330i in Dec 2021. The car was well maintained but I think the daily car cleaner was not so gentle with the exterior. There were swirl marks and hard water deposits along window chrome lines.

I have been getting my Polo GT detailed from Maxshine and really liked the work done by Mangesh and his team. Talked to him about the situation and he suggested a ceramic coating to restore the car to original condition. Ceramic vs frequent detailing has been discussed a lot on the forum and I could not make up my mind even after reading the thread. So went ahead with Mangesh's word that ceramic is a better choice for my case. How long it will last is to be seen (and of course depends on how I carry out the regular cleaning).

Ceramic coating needs the car to be left overnight. I do not have the before pictures, so posting only the after pictures. The pictures do not do justice to how good the car now looks in person. I am very happy with the job.
