Had spoken to the guy at Concepto as well, the only reason I didn't go there was the distance from my office. Here I could drop off the car in the morning and collect it in the evening.

From the pics on their website, the workspace of concepto looks cleaner than Maxshine. I've attached one bad, blurry pic of them looking over my car, it should give you an idea of the floor where the work is done.

Are you referring to the Concepto Carz Spa located in Hiranandani Estate in Thane? If so I had visited them once to get the quotes and found their workshop very neat and clean. Also the products used are branded. I will try to get the contact person details, have noted it somewhere.

Is there a 3M detailer available in Thane?

Going to 3M would mean, I would have to spend close to 8k.

I have been to Concepto. Does Maxshine has a car lift to get the underbody cleaned? Concepto takes it to a garage nearby to get the car pressure washed.

I have been there.

They will charge -
Rs. 500 for Wash + hand wax
Rs. 1000 for wash + machine wax + minor scratch removal
Rs. 1750 for wash + machine wax + sealant

No. Only in andheri & borivali.

@ Raj: You can speak to Mangesh and work out a deal for both the cars.

Also he takes the cars to a nearby washer who does a very good job of thorough washing. He does have a hydraulic lift, not sure if it works, did not get underbody cleaning done for my car.

I dont think underbody is washed in the usual course. Mine wasn't.

used their services earlier today to get my OHC deatiled; satisfied with the results. staff did pay attention to every corner and did a nice job. mangesh picked up the car at 9 AM from my residance and was finished with the job by 1 PM when i picked it up from his workshop. he does not have onsite washing facility and gets the car washed at the bunk opposite to wonder mall.

cost was quoted as 3500 initially but was given a discount of 300 as the exterior of my car was in very good condition which in turn reduced a bit of effort from his side. ony negative is, he operates out of City Motors compound and the workplace was not as clean/tidy as i could have liked it to be.

Mangesh has shifted his place to a new one opposite Upvan lake very recently. It's a much open and well lighted area with lots of natural light. This should help his boys do a good job.

I took my Vista 4 months before. A preplanned Sunday function got cancelled and thought I'll try my luck calling Mangesh. Fortunately he did have a slot free as someone cancelled theirs.

Max Shine is easy to find, in front of Upavan lake. Mangesh personally checked my car, gave me valuable info on various detailing techniques. He saw T-BHP stickers and he talked about you Maverick . As mentioned before, he’s also a member here.

He took my car for wash, IIRC near Cadbury Jn. They washed the car specifically on his demand and need.
Mangesh's crew members were also pros and their detailing technique deserves 5 stars. They even removed the number plates while detailing, which I never saw in other detailer's routine. Panel gaps were thoroughly cleaned.

I recommend Max Shine for their services to my friends and colleagues now.

Better late than never! even I had taken my Vista there around the same time post monsoons, and nature had tried its best to torment my car, but Mangesh did an even better job this time. Sadly got busy and couldnt upload the before and after pics!

Overall I'm very satisfied. The only job that I had to tell him was to take out the number plates & clean the area behind it.Oh yes, he also does IND number plates. Charges Rs.1200/- for it.
He charged me Rs.3500/- for the complete job. Also purchased 2 micro fibre cloths for 400/- bucks.
His new workshop is better maintained than the old one in Kothari compound.
