Thanks for sharing. How is his pricing? Does "competitive" mean "cheapest"?

To me, insurance is a commodity and I usually go with whoever offers me the cheapest premium (for the same cover). I'm not known to be loyal to any particular insurance broker.

When you say that you are not known to be loyal to any agent, are you saying that you haven't been with a single insurance company ?

I follow that practice for my car. Initially I was with Bajaj Allianz, then moved over to Reliance General Insurance, then Tata AIG and now with ICICI Lombard.

This is after taking quotes from Policy Bazaar, from my agents and then whichever company offers me the cheapest premium for the same cover, I go for that. I end up saving around 1k if not more.

Exactly that. Plus during all my new covers/ renewals he has been patient enough to explain the pro-cons, cashless garages covered, requirements and then come up with 1-2 options from which I have chosen.

More so, on one occasion when I had a doubt about the IMT language and that offered by the one of the providers he arranged for a direct call with the compliance persons to have my doubts cleared.
