Folks, am contemplating picking up a pre-owned Beemer and wanted to know if there are any Specialists for Beemer who I can take the car to rather than going to ASC.

My previous trysts with Select Auto Garage have been futile hence looking for alternate solutions.

I too am searching for a FNG specialist for my BMW. Will ping if I come across someone trustworthy. Let me know if you find any.

Thanks

I was too searching for a FNG and came across 4 Seasons Automobile. I think they do service high end cars specially. I hope this may help you.

It might help others if you can post some specific feedback about Select Auto.

Did you end up finding a reliable FNG? Thanks in advance.

So after a lot of attempts finally gave my Vento TDi Highline (1.6L, 2012, 99K run) to Sunil ji today. Has a list of things to be done:

1. Car is overheating while idling, or when I get stuck in a traffic jam, curvy ghat roads. Basically anywhere the radiator does not get direct airflow. Have recently changed pump, radiator fan and coolant tank. But the ASS still couldn't figure out why the car was overheating.

2. Suspension needs maintenance. Had overhauled 30K kms back.

3. Knick-knacks related to loose wires etc.

4. FL ABS sensor has gone kaput.

5. Needs services

6. Odd noises from here and there.

Basically the car feels 'loose'. Here's hoping it comes back tight. Am putting off replacing for at least 2-3 years, and will probably buy a pre-loved Superb / Octavia. Was looking for a pre-loved Jetta but didn't find any in my range.

If the car is diagnosed mechanically well, next up: paint overcoat and upgrade to RCD 360G

Where is the Garage/workshop located now? Last time i knew his garage was going to be relocated.
It was on Dadasaheb Phalke road, hardly some distance from Hindmata signal.
