I too use their services regularly. All my tyre requirements are taken care of by them. Interesting to note is that the shop has been there for over 80 years now.

They are also known to do bullet proofing of tyres.

I also go to him for tyre maintenance. Next time, ask him for his annual package. He charges 750 (i think) per year which includes 2 each of balancing, alignment, rotation and x number of puncture repairs free.

Good and honest guy. Only issue is that he doesn't stock all brands. And secondly (my feeling) that he is still old school.

Other than that, no issues!

Great guys to deal with, and very knowledgeable. They have been in the tyre business for eons. I have learnt a great deal about tyres from these guys, especially Mr. Sujan Chaudhary.

I have received great, straightforward tyre advice and super reasonable prices.

It's an added plus to get to see bullet proof tyres, patching and retreading methods, as well as some hard to find period cash register and weighing scale. Straight out of the 1950s.

Service offered :

"Hot patching" punctures on tubeless tyres. (Assuming i've got the term correct). Unlike a cold-patch, which is just a stick on patch, they also do the hot-patching of tyres, which involves more of a rubber-bond/vulcanizing process, and is therefore better, but takes longer to do.

They sure do deal in all types of tyres. One time i was there, they had some w-i-d-e tyres off a racecar in madras.

Another time, they had this! (Notice how they had to load it onto the pickup with a make-shift ramp).

Is retreading still done on car tyres? I have read that retreading is an economical way to extending the life of your tyres & it's as safe as a new tyres as long as you don't it more than 1 or 2 times.

These guys are really good. I was a regular customer of Saifee in Santacruz but I have switched to Sumit. It was completely worth it.

Remember that they work from 9 to 5.
