Swadi Auto (Nana Chowk, Mumbai)

Products sold:
• Superb for owners of vintage cars

Services offered:
• A to Z in car repair

What I like:
• If you have an old car and are willing to pay top dollar to keep it running in good condition Swadi is your man
• Neat, clean and organised

What I don't like:
• Expensive. very expensive.
• Very slow turn around. Takes some persuasion to get an appointment.

Speciality / USP:
Vintage cars but they will take most marques. Excellent shop. Honest workmanship.

Contact Information:
23889244 / 23889352

Location:
Petit Compound, Nana Chowk, South Mumbai

My Remarks:
I go there when I have a problem and understand Swadi's limitations (cost and time). You cannot rush them. Dont even try.

Hey Navin,

We were regulars at Swadi till a few years ago. I do agree that he did a fantastic job with the cars. I was always amazed with the vintage cars they had out there.
I believe the right person to speak to out there is Vishwanath?

To other members -
They also repair regular cars too. So if you have a Fiat/Tata/Skoda/Ford and are unhappy with your service, you can give them a try.

Its glad to know Dada Swadi and his garage being discussed here. Dont know him personally but one of the few good garages in town area. I know of a person who has all his cars being serviced by Swadi Auto, right from the early 60s.
I know the charges are very high but honest workmanship, no cutting corners and a sticker on the left side of rear windscreen.
