Actually it's the other way round. Prince tyres is the original shop and they opened Tyrex as a new shop later for his son - Vicky

Couple of weeks ago got tyres of my Xcent changed here. Due to covid I didn't really explore many shops to do the work. Parking is a problem here as it is on a busy road but luckily I reached there early so I got a bay straightaway. Opted for Bridgestone as Michelin was not available.

What I liked:
1. Very approachable and I did not feel he was trying to cheat or mislead.
2. No complaints as such on the work done.
3. Technician doing alignment went out of the way to loosen a bolt which was stuck.
4. Rate was reasonable.

What I did not like:
1. Charges 2% extra for credit cards.
2. Tyres were inflated way beyond recommended pressure. Pressure ranged from 40 to 46 in the 4 tyres. This is simply unacceptable from a tyre shop! The improvement in ride was not as much as I expected, hence I suspected tyre pressure & checked it myself.
