Car Detailing & Interior Cleaning - Auto Shine (Kandivali West, Mumbai)

Auto Shine,
Next to Kamala Vihar Sports Club,
Kandivali West,
Mumbai.

I have used their services to clean the interiors of my car and to get my engine coated.

They have done an amazing job, and are honest in their prices as well.

Why don't you put up prices as well? How much time did they take? do they have pick up drop service, etc. More information will help other readers.
A few snaps will also help.

Here are the rates:

Interior shampooing and treatment of the fibres = 700 INR
The engine coating = 1000 INR

I shall put up the pics soon.
They don't have a pick and drop service. But they have a clientele in all ranges, Mercs, BMWs, Innovas, .. etc.

Rates could vary based on the class of the car. Mine is a M800, hence a bit on the lower side

That's a coat of transparent, water and heat resistant polymer that the engine bay is coated with. It prevents water logging / dust from the engine bay. Mainly prevents water from seeping into electric joints, causing trouble after driving through thick of rains. The only catch is that you should not let the service guys use diesel to clean the engine bay.

Oh thanks Renney!
Another question, why should diesel not be used to clean engine bay? I want to get some sort of underbody treatment for my car. Want 3M but Honda is quoting exorbitant prices.

Any one having any idea on such a place in Navi Mumbai, the A.S.S. guys do a horrible job of interior cleaning.

Hi Hiren, apologies for the delay ... got stuck up a bit.
Well, diesel tends to clean out the polymer coat. That's why it is advisible to avoid the use of diesel to clean up a coated bay. Alternatively, a simple spray of water can clean out the dirt. I have driven my 800 for over 400 kms now and the engine bay still looks spick and span. It's safer to drive in the rains, at least you know that the car would not stall due to water getting into the fuel lines / any entries.
All the A.S.S centres quote exhorbitant prices for the 3M coating. The same job can be done at a much lesser cost with private detailers as these. The best part about them is that they are approachable and will let you monitor what is being done to the car. Unlike the service centres where you have to leave the car at the behest of experiments. The underbody coatings are usually thick and would need a bigger nozzle at the spraygun end. Most of the A.S.S guys lower down the consistency of the original coating by mixing thinners, so that they can spray it with the standard nozzle. Saves them the cost and effort of spraying the thicker liquid.
I would recommend you to check the brand of the coating before the work starts and also check the consistency. It would also be advisible to monitor the work at least when it begins .. for the first layer of coat.

There would be services in Navi Mumbai. I completely agree that A.S.S does a horrible job. Most of them never let you see what they actually do and tend to keep you away from the work area. An interior cleaning with the A.S.S would be anything starting from 1200 and then rise up as the class of the car goes up
