What I like:
•They match if not mostly beat the best emis I have been able to get from authorised dealers or other direct selling agents.
•Quick paperwork.
•Ample field staff to have your documents picked up from most parts of the city.

What I don't like:
•You will have to get to a best deal from another dealership for them to be able to beat it to really know you have managed pretty much the best deal.
•Can't really put down anything else in particular besides that there is slightly less warmth extended to you at time of delivery when buying through a direct selling agent.

What I have bought from them: Toyota Innova, Mahindra Scorpio & Skoda Laura.

Addis is an extremely aggressive player, and one of the biggest (if not the biggest) DSAs in Mumbai. One of their USPs is arranging quicker delivery of cars that otherwise have long wait periods.

dear all
please refrain from approaching addis marketing for any car dealings. my experience with them was very very traumatic and it still is. they are the worst lot of people to deal with. my experience in short:
on a very dear friend's recommendation and after researching on the forum(a very short thread though) on 18th nov 2011 i booked my skoda rapid ambition tdi with addis by paying a booking amount of Rs.50,000/-; only because they promised a delivery within 4 weeks while showrooms were asking for atleast 8 weeks. documents were submitted for the loan and were processed promptly. the loan was approved too. at the end of the 3rd week i called up the person to inquire but there was no response. the committed date was way forgotten and was even denied. december came and went by. january mid again i called them for the status. but it was still a status quo. finally after a lot of fighting, haggling, requesting and pleading i gave up. i cancelled the booking with addis. while i awaited the refund, i made up my mind to buy the fabia (ownership review coming up soon) instead. so once again i called them up. i had got quotes from various dealers for the fabia. since i already had a booking amount with addis, i gave them the quotes and asked if they could match up the offer and get me the car. 2 days passed, i called again. another 2 days passed and i called again. the only answer i would get is "i will get back", "i am awaiting the dealer to revert", "i am checking on color availability" etc. the respective gentleman and his counterpart would just not bother to return my call or give me a status update. finally on the 3rd of feb'2012 i called the person at around 3.30pm and asked him if he would get me the car or no. he asked me to wait till 6.30pm (i had to book the car on the 3rd since it was an auspicious day, and it was the only car available with the 2012 specs. i couldn't risk losing it). the call never came. i went ahead and booked the car. i dreaded that i would have to let go of the booking amount. i called several times for the refund. i even wrote to the senior person. instead of resolving my refund issue they were trying to sell me the loan for the fabia. i was furious. the senior person said she would check and call back. never happened. i called back again. she said she would disburse the cheque the same day. another week passed by. i called back again today and the answer was classic - dealer(jmd auto) refuses to pay back the booking amount unless they get another booking from addis!!! here is a link to the consumer court forum regarding addis marketing complaints - complaint against Addis marketing. its the third link that appears if you type addis marketing in google (if only i had done it earlier!).
PS: as i was writing this i did get a call finally from the senior person saying that they are refunding the entire amount and that she can even give me the cheque no if i wanted!!! i hope the cheque reaches me.
