So far I have installed only the dual projector headlamps with Morimoto HIDs (5Five DSP) and Park Assist. Plan to go for RCD 510 with bluetooth module very soon. I am very happy with the new headlamps. They are a boon on highway runs. Btw which music system did you upgrade to ?

Will the 2015 Jetta be more expensive that outgoing model?

It definitely will, also expect the car to come with more features and hence obvious increase in price. May be expensive by around 50k to 70k.

Hi AmolChaps i also own a VW JETTA HL AT (2011) . I also feel the AC is not very effective and same thing has been happening with my jetta's AC , its not cooling well and at times it even cuts off and makes things more worse for the people inside the car.
What all i want to know is, did you get your AC checked by the VW People? what was the problem? Culprit?
Temperature Sensor? did you get the temperature sensor checked?
how was your problem solved?
please help me out.

Rajat

Re: Volkswagen Jetta : Test Drive & Review

Had a chat with the Showroom. They have no clue when the New Jetta is being launched in India.

What new Jetta? There's no new Jetta anywhere in the world right now.

The next generation Jetta is still under development expected to be revealed only in 2015. This will be based on MQB platform.

I hope that does not come to India. The front looks boring and the rear is too much a lift off from the Audi. Does not look good.

You read my mind. Two pages back while deciding on the Jetta, I came across this facelifted model didn't like it at all. The sharp and sporty styling is lost. They made it more like a passat. The only thing I appreciate about it the new steering wheel.

And in the article the car has a sunroof and auto start. Hope it makes it to India too.

They might add memory seats, superior Bi-xenons like those of the octavia and other features but a sunroof i highly doubt it. Would be nice if they do.

Re: Volkswagen Jetta : Test Drive & Review

Bangalore VW is quoting 19.5 L last price including 30K exchange bonus for Comfortline MT.

I am getting a fair price for my previous car.

Any recommendations if this is a fair deal.

With the lull in car market continuing you can haggle on further. Couple of us bought ours from Mysore dealer and have been quite satisfied with him.

+1 to that. Guys in Mysore are very friendly and co-operative.

Worth giving it a try. All the best..
