Bumper to Bumper, as per my understanding includes the consumables also. To avail any claim however, there is a processing charge of 1000Rs. Beyond which everything will be cashless.

Re: Mahindra XUV500 : Test Drive & Review

ICICI gave me another quote (Rs 2500 higher) as well which includes 'consumables'.. I believe then it becomes bumper to bumper?

Looks like 3D Kagu mats are available for XUV5OO as well!

The price seems to be on the higher side though.

Wrote to the seller and requested him to send me pics of the XUV specific mats. The seller did send back good quality photos.

Here's one of the pics:

It does seem to fit beautifully. There is a mat that covers the 3rd row as well.

I am definitely interested. Would check with Mumbai-based dealer (if any) to verify the price.

So that adds up to around 30k for W6.
I am going for the W8, so the IDV value would be higher by around 1-1.5 lacs, right? So roughly how much would the bumper to bumper come to. Any formula to calculate like the emi calculator?

Please check the image in the below post for the seller name:

http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/offici...ml#post2854920

Don't want to name the seller and make it searchable on this thread.

The other pics are mostly average. There is one which shows the 3rd row mat and how it tackles the hooks for the foldable 2nd row seat. That one is definitely interesting.

Would share couple of more pics later tonight.

PS : PLEASE check with 3D Kagu dealer in your own city for XUV5OO mats before buying on ebay. My gut-feel: from a local dealer, the mats are going to be cheaper than Rs 7450 quoted on ebay.

Thats too much!
I have seen one around 5K in Bangalore (this was the maxpider breed), one dealer that I know was quoting around 5-5.5K a few days bacak. Rs 7450.00 looks to be too high to me.

FWD costs less than RWD. Apart from that because all the machinery is in the front (engine, transmission etc), the powered wheels (front) will have better traction in slippery conditions than a RWD where the weight distribution may not be so skewed to one end of the vehicle.

However, all else being equal, RWD is anyday better for acceleration, handling and stability.

What does projector headlights have got to do with FWD/RWD/AWD?
Am I missing something big (and obvious) here?

Indeed you are sir. That is sarcasm. No offence.

Is the Mahindra Awd or Fwd just curious.

Re: Mahindra XUV500 : Test Drive & Review

I have been getting few messages today asking me to have my XUV checked for monsoon for free. Second message is asking to send in my chassis # to get free wash. Did anyone else got these messages?

One more thing. Wasnt the subscription for the magazine for 6 months only? I am still getting these magazines even though its more than 10 months now. Did they forgot to cancel the subscription

Taranonline,
That's really funny! Unfortunately my understanding of sarcasm is at Sheldon Cooper level.

They are listed as "3D Mat - Maxpider Kagu" on eBay. If you check the 3D Kagu mats thread on TBHP, its the same company. So these are original. Check out the driver side mat photo. The edge near the seat does have the familiar "3D" logo with a swoosh below it.

There are available in both black as well as beige.

Sorry, I have not used them yet. So, please check out http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/modifi...kagu-mats.html for detailed feedback (durability, washability etc) on this product.

PS: Let's take the mats discussion to the dedicated 3D Kagu mats thread before we get pulled up by the Mods for going OT on this thread
